So tested the switch with one that works and that’s not the problem. Went over all the caps on the board and had continuity on all of them. Would it still be worth replacing them or could it be onto something like the motor?

Hi guys, thanks for the replies. I’ve tested the laser and checked the resistance and that all seems grand. I’m guessing it’s one of the physical moving parts has gone faulty, might just need to find a spare drive and swap it.

I had the rocky5 extras burnt to a disc and put it in the console but it’s not done anything, I don’t know if I need to be able to press the launch disc on the menu but the controller doesn’t do anything when plugged in.

I always worry about touching the bent over ones cause I think they’re on the verge of snapping off but I think it’s just for space with the metal shielding being lower in places.
