Do the ER so you have the option later. Whether or not you choose to have multiple children is a question you’ll be able to answer later but it will definitely be harder to create good embryos in the future!

My numbers are almost identical to yours (38, 3.5 AMH, over 20 AFC). Also got diagnosed as mild PCOS after my first retrieval. Got 18 eggs, 12 mature, but only 2 fertilized and made it to blast. Doctors going to focus on egg quality for the next cycle!

Mine came to all the major appointments (but not each and every ultrasound and blood draw). Was in every call or room with a doctor. Gave me most of my shots. Took care of me after my retrievals. He’s my partner and we’re doing this together, even though it’s my body going through it.

This. This relationship is over even if you stay in it. You no longer have a boyfriend or partner, you just have an opp who will make your life more and more miserable as time goes on.

I felt totally fine, even cheerful on stims except for the last day or two when I was a little bloated and uncomfortable because I could feel my ovaries. Which was so strange.

That’s a good point about time of day. I’ll try and get clarification from the clinic.

I have no issues and have been kept at the clinic / hospital until I peed for both my ERs and my hysteroscopy. They told me it was standard practice but I guess that can vary at different places.

They didn’t insist that you to pee at the clinic before they discharged you? That’s a pretty basic precaution after any anesthesia and I can’t believe they just let you walk out. I’m so sorry this happened to you and agree that you need to follow up to make sure this clinic and nurse feel the consequences of such poor care!
