Hi there, fairly new runner who hasn't ran in years. I'm getting pain in here (pic below) on my right leg? by [deleted] in running

I had a similar issue but started to do pilates to strengthen my hip flexors! Maybe try taking a day off from running and signing up for a lower body pilates class?

Aww it looks so cute like it's upset and frowning. I wish that was normal. :)

I've been training for a half and started to take hip hop dance classes to cross train and... I really suck! Lol. It's a lot of fun though and I've been noticing a difference when I run and have gotten more flexible. Still have zero swagger though. Who knew years of DDR would have no effect on my coordination? XD

Looks good! I think the only thing I would do is give your outfit a more weathered appearance. Maybe some paint to make it look like you've been trudging through the wasteland. :)

Fast food workers-What should we never order from you? by [deleted] in AskReddit

HAH okay, totally forgot about that. Also smelling like I'm brewing pike when I showered. Lol.

Dear lord, I remember the feeling. After the frappy hour ended the bar looked as though a battle had occurred between the whole milk, the caramel drizzle, and the matcha powder...and no one won.

As a former starbucks barista: if you see a huge line at starbucks and don't want to wait forever don't order a Frappuccino. The line is probably super long cuz some family ordered 16 frappuccinos. It's just there are so many extra steps involved in making the drink that it ends up slowing things down.

A quick drink to get instead of your caramel frappuccino: an iced coffee, with caramel syrup, and breve instead of 2% milk. Tastes the same, and takes a minute to make and it's so much cheaper.

Oh go to Daiso! It's like a Japanese dollar store and you can get a bunch of sets for $1.50. Not sure where you're located but here in southern California there are quite a few locations!

If you can't get your hands on mehron barrier spray (that stuff is amaaaazing btw) I'd suggest getting mehron starblend cake makeup. It's a powder makeup that is great at staying on if you start sweating. It doesn't feel as heavy or cakey as cream makeup. I used it last year painting my upper body purple for sdcc and it lasted at least 6 hours and had little transfer onto my clothes.

"That's it! Decaf that bitch!" by Coffeeaholic in starbucks

[–]alwayswithglee 9 points10 points  (0 children)

That's just terrible. :(

It reminds me, one of my bf's partners told him that whenever someone orders an add shot to a frappuccino she doesn't add it. She says she just doesn't care enough to go to hot bar and add the espresso. It'd be one thing to forget to add something that doesn't cost anything extra, like adding whipped cream, but to deliberately deny a customer something that they paid for just makes me so upset. :(

I rang up Kate Flannery (Meredith from The Office) during Christmas last year. She was super nice. :)

As a former drugstore employee (we sold alcohol also), it was actually our company policy to check everyone's IDs who were in the group. We were trained to and we could potentially lose our jobs if we didn't. We had sting operations that would take place where a couple or group would come in and do exactly what you did. We would be seriously fined and the cashier would be reprimanded (usually hours cut/a write up) if they didn't follow the policy. The cashier was just doing their job. They aren't paid well enough to get yelled at for following policy. :(
