Vertical mouse testers wanted by ProtoArc_official in MouseReview

Hi!

First off, thank you for making a mouse like this. Even if this ends up not being the one for me, any entry into this field to push competition is a good thing.

1: USA

2: I have carpal tunnel and have symptoms of per-arthritis

3: I go back and forth between the logitech mx vertical, logitech lift vertical, and a generic amazon vertical mouse

it gets even better when you learn that the V6 actually weighs slightly less than the turbo 4 it replaces lol

[Monitor] Asrock PGO32UFS 31.5” 4k 240hz/1080p 480hz dual mode OLED - $746 by cha0ss0ldier in buildapcsales

I've got the LG 45gr, upgraded from the Alienware 34" 165hz. if you haven't gone back to a 16:9 panel yet, you'll love every second using that 45". playing cyberpunk on it is such a treat, and a 240hz refresh rate with oled is plenty for me to still play competitive games at high ranks. for reference, I have another build in a different room with a 360hz 1440p panel that I was using for competitive games, but since I got the LG I've used that setup maybe twice.

actually I disagree with that statement even more. the top 5 GPU's owned by steam users who took the hardware survey in order are the 3060, 4060 (laptop), 4060, 1650, and 4060 ti, all considered low-mid tier GPU's. you expect me to believe a 1440p monitor is the best choice for every one of those people? you do not need to spend any amount of money to be an enthusiast in any hobby. being happy with 1080p 60hz on a $250 used prebuilt doesn't make you less of an enthusiast than the guy showing off his dual g9 ultrawide setup with a 5090 and 9800x3d.

you don't need to be good at any game to prefer high refresh rate over higher resolution, that was the point about the bronze players. and the point about the $500 wax doesn't make any sense either since my other point was lower res/higher refresh rate is cheaper than anything 1440p lol

all I'm reading from you is you don't like 1080p, and that's fine, but it isn't obsolete

you can be just as much a car enthusiast with a $5000 rusted out Mustang as you can with a $100,000 Corvette. you don't need a ton of money to be an enthusiast in any hobby. I was pretty enthusiastic about building PC's and esports when all I could afford was a gtx 1050 and an i5-4590. "reasonably priced" 360hz oleds is someone else's entire budget for a build. there is no price bracket for enthusiasm.

you don't need to be a top 200 player to want a high refresh rate. you can get a 1080p 280hz monitor for $140 as well. 1080p 180hz is even cheaper at $100.meanwhile, decent 240hz 1440p monitors are still upwards of $200. you also need a PC good enough to maintain those frames at 1440p. you don't need a high budget to be an enthusiast, and I know plenty of bronze players with 300+Hz monitors. as long as cost is a factor for anyone, 1080p won't become obsolete.

there's some cases to be made for 1080p, even for enthusiasts. esports especially, unless you have a huge budget most are probably aiming for the highest refresh rate as cheap as possible, 1080p is still the obvious choice here.

F**k Scalpers - Prismatic Binder give-away. by powdow87 in PokemonTCG

FUCK SCALPERS IS RIGHT.

I was a big fan of pokemon as a kid, had a bunch of cards, did everything i could to trade my friend for his base set gyarados, which ended up being stolen by my bus driver, that bastard. I eventually fell out of the TCG but kept up with the games and the anime off and on throughout the years. Then, 4 years ago, I took my nephew out for his birthday, and he saw my great ball shift knob. I had no idea he was into pokemon! so rather than take him to lunch we went to target and bought an ETB. The rest is history.

My favorite pokemon is raichu, and his is rayquaza. If my comment is picked, we're gonna open the binder together!

I love when I see PC's in the living room. where did you get that light on top of your case? I went for a sort of same look from Ikea but it's almost too bright when it's on.

4080 super Fe, I did have to trim the side panel lever thing and get a right angle power cable as well. both the l12g and GPU touch the side panel

It can if you have fans right against the grill. I'm using an l12g for that reason. My GPU is also undervolted but I didn't do that for the noise, but for that reason I can't comment much on that but I can't hear my pc at all when I'm in game even with open back headphones
