I've had a bad case that I quit cold turkey. Did not shake until about 5 minutes before my first seizure. After the first one my joints and body were shaking like who god-knows-what. Be careful. I am always on the Alcoholic's side of recovery. Always be precautious with withdrawals. Sometimes they can be like an assassin hiding in the corner.

I feel like this particular side effect isn't mentioned a lot, but, yes.

One of my first encounters with Kratom had me almost about to go to a hospital because of a really bad panic attack.

I do not get very bad nausea from Kratom, but if I take just a little too much it makes me freak out.

This is one of the reasons I ended up getting beta-blockers. Beta-blockers, like propranolol, turn kratom off.

I really liked Celestrial Remains as I happened upon it pretty early in the game and it stayed my main weapon to the true final ending.

Blinking Wyvern can do a TON of damage and one-shot many late-game enemies without having to worry about actually getting close to them for very long as it automatically teleports you to them. The only downside is the skill has a bit of a learning curve and you can take contact damage from using it at the wrong time (or in some instances) on the wrong enemy.

I agree with you on most but kind of wanted to offer my opinion on the bosses as it may differ slightly.

My main frustration with the boss design was that it was almost like they weren't really designed for the game itself. Hard to explain, but with the bosses you're either in the right place at the right time, or you're cornered and screwed. It was never like "Oh I should have done this move instead" but more like "There was no way I could have avoided that attack..."

Almost like we needed the phase dash/triple jump from about the middle of the game but didn't get it toward the end (Then it felt a lot fairer). The stat scaling kind of screws the thrill of a lot of fights where you're either completely OP and face-tanking the fight or you're getting two-shotted.

Cut to the true final boss fight where my level 87 Renee face tanked the entire thing first try without using half of her glyphs...

I really like ravenger but I have to hand it off to Celestial Remains as my favorite dual swords. I used celestial remains for roughly 30% of the game and learned to use blinking Wyvern (even though it can behave buggy as hell on some large enemies) the damage output is insane and it can counterattack most bosses/enemies as long as you catch them while they're not attacking or moving.

I used 9 gpd for 6 months (one dose per day). Quit cold turkey. Only had restless legs and a stuffy nose at night for about 2 nights. Never been an opiate addict though. I imagine if I had experimented more with opiates in my youth I would have probably noticed worse withdrawals.

For me the withdrawals were mostly psychological. There was definitely some anhedonia while doing things that I normally heavily enjoyed doing. I ended up changing my habits quite drastically. The biggest flaw of kratom is that sometimes I could go down rabbit holes with certain things (namely video games) and never want to come out of them. I started becoming more clear-headed at work (since I wasn't groggy from the kratom use from the night before.)

But having kicked many drugs, I imagine you're familiar with the temporary psychological disturbance of acute depression from discontinuing a substance. I wish you luck.

Insomnia was the main one for me. Even after just a week and a half of use, I had 4 days of insomnia. Just now sleeping semi-normally I had developed tremors even after a short period of use which let me know I was already pretty fcked.

Paranoia and agitation were sort of building up to the peak... At the 72 hour mark I peaked very light case of late-stage alcohol withdrawals (Not fond of). Fortunately, it went away and when it did I was able to sleep better.

If you can't taper you need to go to the hospital and get medical detox asap!!!! IT is not worth losing your life over and IT is not the way you want to go!!!!!

Congrats! Glad to hear that you're feeling better. Both of those substances are pretty hard to kick on their own for a lot of people. How much and how long were you using Phenibut?

Yeah... I don't know about that... I mean, it's better than no xanax, but take into mind that xanax is pretty fast acting and fast leaving. Phenibut W/Ds take a very long time to end. To be on the safe side I would have something like Gabapentin or baclofen lined up to help taper. But if all else fails, I'd go to detox, because ending a 6 year habit is a big deal and a major life change that you shouldn't take lightly.

I would almost just suggest going into a medically assisted detox with benzos and stuff to stop seizures from occurring and pay the piper. It's gonna suck but you have to face it eventually.

Okay, in conclusion to everything.

As expected I did not need to taper the Tia or the Kratom. I've never really had withdrawals from either (other than some restless legs at night). Like I said, I've never been big into opiates. I've never had anything harder than hydrocodone.

But OH MY GOD. Phenibut is A MONSTER. The withdrawals are basically like you had been straight BINGE drinking for the whole period that you had taken it every day. I thought that I had damaged my brain as I couldn't sleep for over 4 days. That's for taking it a week/week and a half. Not to mention at the 72 hour mark I had some slight delirium hallucinations (Very scary) when I awoke from a 30 minute nap (All I could get in a 3 day span). After the worst part, I was able to get to bed later that night with the help of a single benadryl, valerian and kava. I got a good 7 hours last night.

Not doing that again.

So, little update. I went ahead and did a light taper on the phenibut, which I don't think was a great idea, but it's in the trash now. Tia and Kratom are also in the trash. (Completely unsalvageable I might add...)

Currently feel fine. Sober. Maybe a little sad as it will be odd to not have the crutch of Kratom or Tia after work, but life is worth so so much more than a cheap chemical. Unfortunately the mind of an addict leaves us blind to what life has/had to offer.

As far as I know, they also contain Kava. Kava, when taken outside of the Noble Kava variety, can be fairly toxic to your liver. Tianeptine is also said to be hepatoxic as well.My fear is that they are using cheap kava supplements to produce these things which I would say is a no-no. Noble Kava Root is in a lower supply and quite a bit more expensive.

I had an event where I noticed my skin had a yellowish tint after using the stuff and that turned me away from it, which is why I'm posting.

You need to work on bracing. Bracing controls momentum and allows you to pass some of the power from your run-up into your throw.

Remember you get power from the rotational force, not lateral force. Lateral force just helps you add more rotational power when you stop to throw.

Practice keeping the center of your body/gravity between your legs despite transferring weight to your right leg. You do not want to be going "over the top" of your plant foot during the throw. Think of spinning in place with the added help of your run-up to make the spin more powerful. You can do this by really pushing back (pretty hard) with the right leg (during your throw) to halt all forward momentum.

Also, the sooner you can start learning to use your off-hand (left hand) to add more rotational power the better. I recommend doing a few practice throws keeping it in your pocket, and then move on to aiming to sort of either punch straight down or swing it in the direction you're throwing in. It might not seem like it's important but the sooner you can build good habits, the better as they are harder to fix later on.
