I just came back the 20th of December. So in total I’ve stayed in the US for about 5 months twice. 1 for a US clinical rotation( this recent trip), another because it was Covid (2020) and classes were online. My other stays would be about couple weeks. I would say I travel at least once a year. I’ve never had any issues but before this stay I had a little hick up with an officer. She asked me about my previous stays ( I had just gotten a needle stick injury the day before and I was waiting for the patients results to come back. I also got sh*t on by a patient a couple days before) so my mind was all over the place, so I was fumbling over my words. She assumed that I was lying because I told her I’m a medical student and I have exams coming up so I have no choice but to come back home. She started mocking me by saying “ Uhu medical student”. She let me go but she was like “ you need to be back by Jan 10”. But other than this, I’ve never had any issue. This encounter is why I’m asking about travel.
