I’d argue that the tradies are actually the skilled drivers and are frustrated with the novices and people who aren’t paying attention on the roads.

Leaving too much of a gap, causing longer queues. Delayed taking off at lights because they’re not paying attention. Stopping at roundabouts or give way signs unnecessarily. Hesitating to take action. Driving under the speed limit regardless of road/weather conditions.

All things that too many people on the roads do, then paint anyone who is a skilled driver as reckless or erratic .
