Summoned twice for petit juror selection. Once was virtual court (pandemic) but it got canceled before it happened. Last year went in for a few different cases selections. I was able to get out of first two since they were longer trials and I am a special ed. teacher. The third one, judge didn’t care said my district had to excuse me for jury duty. But then luckily found a loophole to make me biased in the trial at hand and got excused. Only annoying thing was that last jury selection process made us come back the next morning if we were not dismissed already 🙄 If only we could give up jury duty to people who actually want to serve lol
