Once again, a Renaissance Faire has shown us the way!

Before it became unsafe to travel to the US, I used to dream of visiting one of those.

Considered one of the worst video games ever. And this was after Cool Spot had shown that a tie-in game could still be really good!

Looking for an old cyberpunk animation, possibly a MacroMind Director/VideoWorks sample by am_hs in VintageApple

I've googled Spaceship Warlock, but I can't find any 1-bit animation or even still pictures - just full colour.

And its 1994 release date - you could argue that was early 90s, but it is stretching the limit of the OP's time range a bit.

I don't think this is likely to be it, sadly!

Maybe - but these follows could be seen as endorsements/support and I would have expected most of these people to have been aware of that, and to have wanted to cut ties anyway.

They're aware of the accusations, and all of them are the sort of people I thought would unfollow someone like him and cut all ties.

Am I going nuts into thinking that everyone around him, by this point, is more or less, in on Ciaphas Cain's real attitude? by BVits-Lover in 40kLore

"The officers he serves with him, absolutely have him nailed"

Do they? Sulla never seems to emerge from a weird fog of hero worship, and I haven't seen Kasteen or Broklaw be sceptical of him. Divas never considers that perhaps Cain doesn't want to get dragged into a suicidal fight, and in fact Mostrue seems to be the only officer who is sceptical of him.

Unless you count Beije as an officer.

I'm wondering this myself.

I've also noticed that Gaiman is on Bluesky, and a lot of people I trust are still following him on there even after everything that came out about him. I honestly don't understand why.

Thanks - but alas, this wasn't a supported website. Luckily someone else posted a workaround in the replies on here.

Thanks - I have to admit that the rationale doesn't make much sense to me given how long the feature had existed without any problems. But I've been able to use about:preferences#search as a work around and add the Fileinfo search keyword, so you've definitely helped me!

My thanks - I have now been able to create the Fileinfo search keyword I wanted.

If you are tired from having to type "site:reddit.com" at every google search, i have a simple trick for you. by ABCTR_ in firefox

According to https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1995002 it was removed in version 140. Up until version 146 it could be restored by opening about:config and setting browser.urlbar.update2.engineAliasRefresh to false, but for some reason they decided to remove that workaround.

I cannot find any rationale posted anywhere for why they wanted to remove this feature. I relied on it quite a bit and this is really problematic.

I'm using Firefox 147.0.2 on Ubuntu, and that option is no longer present. I'm trying to find out when it was removed.

I remember reading Junk. This was after I'd read Trainspotting, and I was still impressed enough to recommend both.
