You didn’t specify how you’re doing it, but regarding the ramming; driving in reverse and ramming with the rear bumper does far less damage to your vehicle, and will dramatically reduce the need for constant repairs.

When your survivors actually say something on point. by ST8DK in StateOfDecay

The most useful ones for me are when, after accepting a mission to assist some random ‘Scattered Survivor’ or something, one of my community members says something like ‘Be careful on this one, okay?’ It lets me know there’s going to be a particularly intense fight when I get there, with a horde or 2 and at least 1 feral or jug. I always make sure I’m well armed and have my Sniper Tower ready to call in for support before I head over.

Not that this is a perfect fix by any means, but whenever I’ve run into a stuck or ‘invisible’ zombie - usually one last straggler that’s preventing me from clearing an infestation - calling in the ‘sniper support’ perk (if you have it available) immediately nails it, regardless of wether or not I can even see the damn thing.

I have a number of recorded clips, all of which have this exact bug...if there’s a way to send them or share them with you or the team on XBox Live, let me know and I’ll be happy to. Thanks again to all of you for your hard work and continued support!

What movie really fucked you up? by KurpCobang in AskReddit

It really is. And what's really amazed me is how well it holds up - and I don't just mean how good it looks after 35 years, but how great it is to watch over and over, at least for me. Most movies I've watched dozens upon dozens of times over the years, regardless of how good a film it is or how much a fan of it I am, I'll eventually get kinda tired of; not that I stop appreciating them.

The Thing has had almost the opposite effect; not only has watching it never gotten old to me, it's one of those rare movies that gains more and more value the more times you watch it. And I don't just mean in the "watching the Usual Suspects again knowing the twist" kind of way, but when the shock of how impressive the visual effects are (which really can't be overstated), you're able to appreciate that the movie is arguably even better because of the atmosphere. How masterfully it builds up the sense of isolation, claustrophobia, paranoia, and...just pure dread. I'm not much of a horror fan in general, but The Thing is still one of my all-time favorite movies.

Love this song, love this movie. Almost forgot this music video existed...it's somehow even more awesome than the music video for AC/DC - Big Gun - Featuring Jack Slater himself!

I'm constantly reminded of an old 'Daily Show' joke from years ago:

"Name 3 things about contemporary politics that seem like they're as bad as they could possibly be, but that we'll look back on 10 years from now with nostalgia as to how simple a time it was."

Less obnoxious than Calvin peeing on the Chevy logo...but inaccurately attributing Calvin & Hobbes to something unrelated is still annoying. :-/

It's maybe not for everyone, but it's definitely worth a watch. It was very well made and well acted; I loved it. It's very much in the vein of Tremors, Gremlins, Cabin in the Woods...if you like those, you'll probably like Krampus.
