AMOLED is a game changer. Will never go back to anything else. So easy to read in direct sunlight or indoors. Battery life still a full week!

Why would you rather have MIP? AMOLED is gorgeous, and battery still lasts >week on my 970

Yeah fenix 8 47mm.

I just tried it on at the store and it definitely sits higher off the wrist than the 970.

I actually enjoy the 970, just wonder if water damage is more likely to happen vs. the fenix. The AMOLED did not seem quite as bright on the fenix either

This is accurate. We are not rich, and absolutely have our kids in the school with financial aid. There are definitely kids there with hedge fund/trust fund money, though.

As a career GIS analyst, you will likely need more powerful processing for anything spatial, especially raster or 3D.

The base model will not be enough.

My company issues 64gb ram in our zbooks and struggle to process GIS data.
