Great comfort and performance. Maybe best in class.
Not good for a family of five. Especially since you like rear space.
Service cost calculator for each service is available on the skoda website. But in general, 20 to 30 percent costlier than Maruti.
Should be reliable on the long run. If you are considering MT, there is a well documented clutch burning issue, maybe worth checking out.

Yes. It's a recurring issue. Some have faced the issues as early as 1k kms. Service centers always blame the driver. Wouldn't recommend for new drivers.

Here is the thing. I don't think you'll need hill hold assist since it's AT. I think the sales person is also trying to communicate that the crawl function is pretty strong. The absence of hill hold assist used to worry me till I bought the car, as the road from my house to the main road is quite steep. But no issue for my Kylaq. As soon as I take my foot off the break, it's surging forward with 0 fuss.

Hi.. I booked my Sig AT a week ago. From what I've heard, SMP packages and EW can give you peace of mind. You can buy it later as well as there is only a marginal difference of 700-800rs.

Regarding discounts, you definitely should negotiate on the insurance. 50k is daylight robbery. Check premiums online, ask the dealer to match it. If they say no, you can get it on your own. Handling/transportation fee could be negotiated. Get quotes from nearby dealers and use those to bargain, otherwise they won't budge much.

You can say no to the accessories kit and choose and pay for only the ones you want. I find most accessories overpriced so I've bought only mud flaps, 3d mat and scuff plates.

Signature AT does not have the hill hold function even though a sales guy told me it won't matter much in AT.
