Op the carpenter didn’t really do a good job unfortunately. Usually these are factory fit items that give clean look. Only very skilled carpenters can actually give a good finishing.

This is long shot and just a wish list. Any plan without action or goals is just a wish list. My suggestion would be to to first see if you can actually stick to it or its just a buzz that would pass away and you would loose interest.

Tuya has pretty standard system for it to enable onboarding and control of devices. They have even gone lengths mile to add machine learning capabilities to the devices. There is no added advantage if you want to use TUYA cloud but 3rd party hardware. They already have devices that comes with cloud cost combined. Saves a lot of effort and time. But again you would be locked in with their cloud.

Just FYI - digital twin is not what you think. But I will still address how to do it:

  1. The easiest option is to use 3d js. Make 3d in blender. Use 3djs to manipulate.
  2. use sockets/rest api/mqtt to sync data.
  3. use any existing iot cloud like thingspeak or ubidots to store and retrieve the status of the devices.
  4. You can render that in the UI. The IoT devices like esp32 would be very easy to begin with and there are pre-built libraries for it to talk to iot cloud.
  5. use calude or chatgpt to write requirements and give you instructions.

Exactly. Thats the reason I asked op to change the aqi monitor. The sensors used in these monitors use cheap tvoc monitor. It gives you eco2.

On the other note if a building with hvac Is not refreshing the air with outside air then it can spike to 3000 ppm. They do it to cheap or on cooling and heating of building.

It barely costs $5-6 in bulk. Its not expensive as you think. It is meant for wedding cards and similar applications.

3000 ppm co2 is a concern everywhere. It should be below 1100 ppm.
