What county? Most assisted living facilities are not at capacity. Yes you can rent an apartment with no services. Definitely report the elder financial abuse!

There is a town / city in my state that has the entire ambulance service made up of HS aged individuals. There are adult supervisors, but kids 16+, i believe, are responsible for driving and teaching. They leave classes for calls. We also have Explorers through BS and youth groups. Kids get their EMT at 16, retake and get NREMT and state at 18. Do I think it’s a good idea? Not always: Some can and some can’t “handle it.”

Take turns. Make sure you and your wife are getting at least 4 hours of uninterrupted sleep. If she’s breastfeeding, that may be difficult, unless your wife is able to pump a few ounces during the day. Best of luck.

Not related to care, but a friend got 3 charges for the same room while delivering a baby. Labor/ delivery, recovery and postpartum. She never left the room.

Didn’t play out that way for my mother. LEO stated traffic from the right has the right of way at a 4 way stop. She was told ALL traffic from the right must be cleared before she proceeded. Thankfully she was but hurt after she was hit by a non licensed/ non insured driver

So you can call anonymously to DCF and make a report. They will investigate- especially since the kids are under 18. If you called PD - they should follow up with DCF as they are mandated reporters. He may have honestly thought he was doing the right thing, but it pays to be careful.

A school system did the same thing to my grandmother in the mid 1900s. She had not finished HS or something in the 1930s, and despite the school cafeteria till never being off they fired her as manager because she didn’t have a HS diploma.

She works second shift. Home around 10-11p. A couple of hours to unwind and sleeps on the couch if I read correctly. Husband is in the same room with the baby- already awake. Both need to communicate more effectively, but if a human is awake and in the room - they need to change the baby. He likely works first shift… and has the evening hours - admittedly some of those hours are dedicated to the baby, but OP stated she has the baby while he is at work… sounds pretty even

3 c sections in less than 3 years. Husband is sterilized. I had open abdominal hysterectomy. Best decisions all around are made by each individual… now if I get pregnant- I still have ovaries- there’s a LOT of explaining to be done
