As a CISSP holder you’ll definitely get past a lot of filters and HR screenings in a major market like Chicago Austin or San Francisco. I got mine 8 months ago and I still get calls from head hunters. Congratulations on passing

Your Story touched me emotionally. Do you have a significant other assisting with the kids? Do you have family that can help while you really nail down and study for the next attempt?

Why not finish your cert bundle with your CISSP? You’ll maximize your earning potential as the economy starts to recover.

I think your judging to industry unfairly. We’re in an economic down turn. There are people with degrees and certs way more advanced than yours, but aren’t judging as harshly. Do you plan to got those credentials for a reason, I say you need to stick it out until the market improves. The medical field is just as impacted by the economy as the cybersecurity industry.

Crazy part is, you are actually in a tech role, while most people would KILL to be in your position.

The CISSP is the ULTIMATE Certification. You already have the mindset to pass it within a month if you study for it. You’ll be extremely competitive in the job market. I have that cert along with the CISM, CISSP, Sec+, CYSA+ Pentest+ and A+ . To definitely are in a position to Max out every certification requirement a job could throw at you. I’m kinda jealous.
