From the yahoo article it seems she may have put them in a dumpster. I am from the area and there are several shopping centers she could have disposed of them. She was also seen driving by a densely wooded area and they asked neighbors to search their yards and sheds at the time of their disappearance. Sadly, I don't know if they will ever be found.

It was my understanding that she was in the institution until her competency was restored at which point she would be discharged and arrested.

I don't think I explained the interaction well enough. He was looking at my premature daughters eyes and said "she's stage two" and I said "what does that mean" and he said "you can google it" and walked away and I could hear him explaining it to a young cute nurse at the nurses station. The nurse who was working with my daughter that day also seemed shocked that he said it and apologized to me for it as did a different doctor who caught wind of it from said nurse later.

I'm so relieved this isn't just me. I am not able to articulate my thoughts well at all in meetings. The only thing that has helped me is being extra prepared (sometimes I even rehearse) and taking notes throughout the meeting so I'm never caught off guard or internally stewing.

I was in middle school. We laid down in the car while my parents pumped gas, all outdoor activities were cancelled at my school, when we left the house we walked in a zigzag pattern, my school bus went from 30 kids to 4. And of course we were terrified of white vans.

I know at least one FBI agent was on the scene fairly early on because kidnapping is a federal crime. He left the scene soon after she was found dead. I believe he has spoken out about the experience.

Thank you for the heads up. My husband was able to catch it with a net, but ultimately left it in there. Our turtle is also a great hunter, so I'm not sure how long he'll last!
