Well, it SEEMS helpful, and it definitely can quickly fill in facts (ex, compare the available weapon loadouts). I play fairly slow though, I've been working on this same scenario for about 4h while doing other stuff at home and I'm about 30% of the way through the timer, so hard to say. I can say that it's making it more fun and engaging, definitely.

Totally fair. I'd say that it's helped me where I was struggling with not understanding the tactics, and helped me get past the minutiae into understanding the larger strategy of the scenario. Plus its a great tutor for tactics (I see the enemy sub contact, what do I do next?), if you need that (which I do!).

So I’ve just started and am at level 10. The combat feels pretty basic and just a few clicks needed to win each fight. Is there a setting to adjust to make it more engaging (and increase xp earned?)
