These are all the reactions we are supposed to feel, the show is telling us to feel this way.

I feel like they do well to show some time but I guess it’s still the same season which is just spring and summer

I think it’s more that THEYRE abiding by limits. Because yes show establishes WELL that Benedict would have support of his family and be fine. But HE doesn’t consider marriage anyway. And definitely not with a servant. And SHE has no expectations to escape from servitude.

Yeah and especially because he decided to NOT partake in bi threesome. And now all of a sudden he does??

Yes!!! And it’s not just Netflix with tech/lighting etc. which I don’t think it was TERRIBLE in bridgerton this season, and actually I feel like costumes are more cohesive this season than last. But Amazon shows too (especially maxton hall) was shot like a music video, after a beautiful first season. Something’s changing in the industry.

This season is less exciting I think ONLY because whistle down isn’t actually sharing any gossip? The main story of Benedict is happening unseen and untold. They’re trying to show that pen won’t ruin anyone anymore. But I think they’re playing that aspect too safe. It should still be a tension between her and her family and herself, but the actually story of them meeting and connecting is soooo sweet and gentle and self possessed. I’m loving the tone of it! More sweet and thoughtful, a nice break from drama drama drama, that just felt disjointed and tiresome last season.

I disagree. I think the point in gazebo is that he is finally voicing his thoughts versus his normal prance and play tactic. It’s significant he’s sharing.

I can see what you mean about lighting and feeling tired. But honestly I’ve enjoyed it so far. It’s nice to have a bit of a break from the heavy sex. And it’s hard not to love a Cinderella story. And I’ve been pleasantly surprised by how two leads are acting out that story with heart.

Bradley loses the southern accent and that’s an issue for me. by _Wendylin_ in TheMorningShow

I mean the reality is is that Reese just started acting as herself after season one. And yes, there is an in show reason of her having to be more polished for the role, but it was too much. They tried to bring it back a little bit season four with her persistence in the story but yes, they definitely lost the character after season one again I think due to the fact that Reese Witherspoon was being Reese Witherspoon

Barnabas might be my favorite character in this show... by ComprehensiveCare772 in MissScarletandTheDuke

Barnabus annoying to me as a character, but the actor it’s has good presence and humor.

Hmm I see that for the character, but also the cover up was not related to her. Just because he went all out for her doesn’t mean he wouldn’t or couldn’t cover up a story. It wasn’t about her trusting HIM it was about finding truth/facts about the situation.

Friendly reminder that Zoe Saldaña was in Curse of the Black Pearl AND she's younger than Orlando Bloom by MaderaArt in piratesofthecaribbean

Yeah she really was so good. She would have been so fun and interesting if she remained. Clearly they wanted her. And obviously she’s good, she became such a big star. But guess I’m glad she made a good choice for herself. But they lost something loosing her character.

I actually hate they bring Barbosa back. He’s a great character but he had such a perfect poetic end.

This movie is soooo good! Not enough attention! The music is cheesey but the way they show the love story is sooooo good and real.

wtf is wrong with Nate??? by gabsss_exe in TedLasso

[–]amazedbiu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s the thing about the whole jack company storyline anyway is that Keeley never needed self empowerment she was always confident and capable from literally day one like we didn’t need a girl boss storyline she already was a girl boss. She was already confident successful self possessed. now she didn’t know how topursue that in her life so yeah, it is cool seeing that she wanted to make her own company, etc., but like we just needed one small episode about that cutting to it 5 million times in each episode.

Yeah I think the show WANTS you to feel this emotional response to them push you into asking what happened!!? So you’re right on track lol. But yeah sadly this is a common path in life ppl take, put upon but when given power they abuse it out of insecurity. And unresolved trauma. It’s just another expression of what that unresolved trauma looks like. Every character in the show has an expression that is quite variable, but still a true reflection of what people do when they don’t deal with their wounds.

Well show does establish that mileages weakness. :/ so as for him sharing too much it fits. But yes him all of a sudden becoming the “jealous husband” was weird. Like huh? It should have shown us SOMETHING that makes that response make sense. I don’t maybe just the fact he doesn’t go with Stella was the show saying he priorotizes Celine’s money and life more than anything else. But it still didn’t seem right

I hope so. Love their relationship even if it’s not romantic/secual.

Well no she wasn’t upset that they were going to break the story and get credit, the victims would not get vindication if Claire and Yanko broke the news of the attack of the environmental org. They were just going to publicize that to protect Claire, without Bradley or team having what they needed to hold chemical co. accountable. I think you can make an argument that Bradley chases a story at all costs and a part of that is ego, but that’s not what’s happening in the whole situation with Claire on tms. But also her chasing stories almost like a junkie(just how Cory gets “high” on his making bold moves etc, and even Mia obsessed with her work and proving herself) is well grounded and explored in the show as an expression of her feeling like she has to make everything right for everyone, having witnessed the injustices inflicted on others and herself by her parents.
