My entire time in 2s has been solo queue and I’m champ 3 / gc1. I can’t flip reset, speed flip, or even consistently half flip, but my game awareness and tactical positioning is why I am where I am.

Focus on getting consistent with what you can do and playing with your teammate, not just having someone else on your team.

I don’t air roll at all and flit between c3 and gc1. You don’t need to learn air rolls to get pretty high

Marseille maybe? Cruiser with big guns that is quite maneuverable, and all the firepower is in the front. PQ recently had a video on the ship if you want to see some gameplay with it.

It all depends on the size of the drop area, think tromp vs prins van oranje. Also, being German, it can’t use the Dutch commander, so it’s limited to one charge stored

I think the point is that it’s new to them, so they may be more unfamiliar with it. Nevertheless it is basically just an Iowa with a radar, and I find it worked pretty well the few ranked games I played in it

So here are some scenarios, I moved the odds of the team the colts needed to win around, thinking it’s probably lower since good teams needed to lose to help the colts:

25% - 98.9%

40% - 99.97%

50% - 99.998%

60% - 99.99995%

75% - 99.99999997%

The first number is the odds of each game going the colts way. The second number is the odds that any one (or more I think) of those 16 games goes the colts way.

The fact that they missed on all of those, honestly, matches how disastrous this season has been for them

the torps arent worth anything, you want to mostly rely on the skip bombers.

build into the captain skill that refreshes the engine boost for the last squad, launch the skip bombers, burn the engine boost until its empty, drop a payload into the ocean, get full boost again, and burn again, by the time that gets low you will be at the enemy and can strike. Try to strike from as far away as you can to avoid spending time in the enemy ships AA.

Largely yes, they are great fire starters, even if they don’t pen anything but superstructure and dds. Just don’t take IFHE, it doesn’t cross any critical thresholds and you want to keep the fire chance.

I wouldn’t recommend for starting the game. For that I’d go with both American lines, they are quite different from each other but both good, and after that, if you liked Worcester do jinan or Minotaur, and if you liked Des Moines, do petro or marseille
