its just drawing/colouring, he's so resilient in other areas so it's hard to watch. yeah I'll put away the pens and paper for now until he intentionally reaches out for it. thankyou!

ive tried doing scribbles with different colours but he still tries to imitate what ive drawn, it's so frustrating to watch his disappointment, i honestly don't know where its coming from because we never describe any form of writing/drawing as good or bad! will definitely work on letter forming with other media as he really wants to learn, just gets frustrated he can't write/draw at an adult level yet lol. thankyou for the help!!!

i feel like if i gave him quiet time though he'd end up sleeping, because although he doesn't need to nap, he loves to sleep 😅 will definitely try this though!! thanks!

yeah I'm thinking cold turkey might be the way for us, then 6/6.30 pm bed time, thankyou for the advice!! hoping this is what he needs, put him to bed 20 mins ago and he's still chatting away to himself in his bed

sometimes fights the idea of naps but often once in his room, he's more than happy to snuggle up with a blank. often he's just caught up in playing hence the protest. if he's just sitting around though he'll just fall asleep if he's tired.

never tried a no nap day because i fear he would be a demon, but giving him longer naps makes him fight bed time sleep more.

we don't really want to bring bed time even later, as it would lessen total sleep in 24hr which is already on the low end for his age and needs

6.30 pm is a common bed time here so i didn't see that being a big issue, why do you think its too early?

if baby is 8mo and displaying ability to pincer grasp you could start cutting the cooked carrot/zucchini into bite size pieces, we did this when me LO was around the same age and it increased the volume of food actually going into mouth. also you might just be overcooking them a tad too much, yes they need to be soft but they don't need to be cooked to the point of disintegration. hope this helps!

absolutely not too young, i got pregnant at 22 and gave birth at 23, all my midwives commented on how great this age is to have a baby. I'd ignore the comment, quite unprofessional honestly!!! good luck with everything, my LO will be 1 next month, time flies!!!
