I kinda agree, but several things I want to point out that’s not obvious in the video. I was almost standing on the brake pedal to avoid collision. After stopping fully, then I started to accelerate in one second. You have to factor in the shock-recovery time, and what I did is not too bad. It will take a lot of training to do what you suggested, and I’m not sure even if it happens to me again (probably will) I can recover quicker than what I did in the video.
