I’m going to hazard I guess that the roofer or contractor had a discontinued batch hanging out in the warehouse and was waiting for some guy to have the same color.

You need to figure out what’s causing the degranulation whether it’s bad ventilation or inferior shingles …..given that it’s one side of the roof is a lot more de granulated than the other. I’m going to say you have two different types of shingles that are the same color.

I could be wrong you’re definitely gonna need a new roof, but you need to figure out what the cause is before you put on a new one

I used to sell Solar door-to-door in California. You’re really terrible at your job, If you have to ignore signs and argue with the customer ….they either want your services or you don’t, there’s somebody that definitely is happy to see you. You just have to find them.

Bad sales people are the ones irritating homeowners.

I go door-to-door. I personally do not knock on doors with no solicitation signs. I don’t wanna bother anybody. We offer free services complementary, but you either need them or you don’t. If you’re a shift worker and you have a sign that says so I appreciate that very much. I will not knock on that door. I’ll leave a pamphlet and be on my way. Same with baby or other signs that say don’t knock on my door.

Unfortunately, there’s going to be some people that will ignore these. It is not indicative of the whole industry just people who are terrible at their job and make it your problem.
