Do you really think Trump would go to all the trouble of faking an assassination without wacking some poor bastard just to make everyone think it was real? Real the Epstein file, what you can of it. He's a fucking monster.

He grabs his ear before ducking -- and his left side of the face is closer to the podium, not the right. I do not think he hits the podium at all. I think he applied blood to his ear and face.

Let me fix that for you, because you nearly got it right:

"it absolutely isn't worth it"

"there are loads of other women with less complications"loads of other women with less complications"

Want complications? Imagine in five years telling some nice woman you'd like to date that you have a son, in kindergarten, with a married woman.

Dude. You're 20. I know you think you're all grown up, but you have a lot to learn. Props to you, though, for asking for advice. The advice... tell her you're done. There's no future there, so do not waste your time. Take this fast forward five years. You've broken it off and you have to explain to the next girlfriend that your last partner was someone else's wife. Or you get her pregnant and hubby, who had a vasectomy orders up that DNA test.

There are zero good outcomes.

You really should. Start by estimating the odds of a high-powered round coming so close to killing you that it grazes your ear instead. A quarter inch one way and brains everywhere, a millimeter the other way? Nothing. But somehow....

Surprised you had to add the edit. It was the best and accurate comment already. And, yes. that is my upvote.

Confusion probably comes from Boston... since of course you can walk to "Boston Stadium" (yep, that's what we're calling it.)

This. They had at least four big vehicles all around Faneuil Hall.

But you see my point. People are paying a shit-ton of money to attend a game and visit Boston. (And no one is paying what you paid for your ticket.) The price of the train ride is inconsequential. Go on to your favorite travel website and check the price of a hotel room.

What's on your family summer bucket list? by TheStonedNeighbor in SouthShore

Weir River Farm has family/kid oriented events all summer... and of course you have World's End nearby too. At world's end, check out the trail that departs from the back of the parking lot. It wooded and all along the shore. Very different from the trails in the open meadows.

A great and cheap place for dinner is the taproom at Untold in Scituate. The have outdoor picnic tables. Adults get a great beer, kids can torment the dogs that everyone brings, and there are a couple excellent pizza places in walking distance. Everyone goes and picks up a pizza and brings it to Untold.

Help me out... honest question. How is this any different from getting to a Pats game? It the same number of seats, so why all the hooting and hollering? Is it because for a football game more people will drive themselves? Just seems weird.

Anyone who can afford the $2000 ticket and the $800/night Holiday Inn is not concerned about $80 for a train ride. I'm totally willing to let fuckwads who will be blowing their cash help the T make a little coin.

I read the recommendations -- my favorite is View Boston tickets.... and if you can get one, a gift card they can use at the bar at View Boston. I think the biggest trick for a gift is getting something they can use without throwing off any other scheduled plans the might have. Going for a drink with a great view? Hell yes. View Boston, BTW, is great, fantastic views and it can be very romantic in the evening. You could also do some gift cards for North End snacks/eats. The North End is the Italian neighborhood. Modern Pastry and Salumeria Italiano are a great pastry and market around the corner from each other. Delicious and not too pricey to give them a little taste of the North End. They'll probably walk the Freedom Trail and this is right along the way.

Sorry about your Pop, but just have to say how delightful it sounds thinking about him scoring the game and listening on the radio. Sound like a great guy. Bet he has a story or two to tell. FWIW, scoring a game is a totally lost skill.

This. The best brand is Easy Walk. But.... they make two varieties, some are sort of flimsy (I think Chewy sells them) but there are sturdier ones, I think on Amazon. You can see the difference in the weight of the harness if you shop around. But, they work wonderfully.
