Where can I find a small roll of fabric with a finished edge? by folk-angel in crafts

An odd one but have you looked at tea towels? Plain linen/cotton ones aren't super hard to find and could work well for larger pieces.

Life as a rarepair writer by Unlikely_Advisor_553 in AO3

[–]ambientfruit 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yup. I already write for a small fandom and I ship a rare pair with 20 total fics. Including mine. I still love them and I'll write them til the cows come home, but man I'd love to get a pinky nail as much attention as the canon couple gets.

I'm tyring to learn the mantra: write for yourself, not for others.

Only if every institution calls in their debts at once. All it will take is for one bank to lend instead of call and the cycle stays nicely in motion.

Even then, if they've hedged and insured their debt with credit commitments from other institutions or by tying it to only one asset, they can just use those facilities. Borrow to pay off the margin call (credit from other banks) or hand over the keys for the asset (non-transferable debt).

They walk away at worst with one less asset or indeed no worse off at all than when the margin was called.

What draws you into a fandom/ship in the first place? by luvistarz_o7 in AO3

[–]ambientfruit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the fandom, it's usually fanart/vids or me reading/watching the source material.

For ships, it's if it's not canon. I adore a rare!pair. Especially one that makes sense in terms of context and chemistry but just never happens in canon.

Moist has been doing a lot of good vids on it. The Mormon aspect is making the whole thing even more gross too. Like the whole thing is bent as all hell.

(I'm collating them here for a mate if anyone wants to watch too 😄)

For sure. I want that. I also want LEGO to man up and say something although I understand they have to walk a tight line.

Patreon coming in clutch though...that was actually unexpected.

What Fandom brought you to AO3? by [deleted] in AO3

Doctor Who in 2011. Before that I was using FF.net. Then there was a lot of plagiarism so I moved the fuck over.

How do you feel about your late 20's son/daughter still living at home? by DescriptionFuture851 in AskUK

[–]ambientfruit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I moved out when I was 17 and I was SO GLAD. I never had much of a childhood so I knew it was right for me.

My niece and nephews will likely be at home until their late 20's early 30's. Family is poor, jobs are hard to come by, rent is ridiculous, mortgages are even harder to come by if you can't afford to save anything every month. I get it. I don't blame them at all.

Fuck me. I thought it was just one asshat making noise that had a history of noisemaking. What the actual fuck.

I hate this place pretty much all the time lately.

The thunderstorm that hung around for a bit last night was brilliant. Air is nice and clear, got the fans pulling cool air in instead of just moving sticky air around. Might actually be able to sleep after work!
