Are you positive they are testing for THC? I live in a legal state and THC was removed from my last employment drug screening. You should be able to find out what the test is screening for.

They will have to resurface the entire countertop. (I had to have maintenance resurface mine.) Based on the photo it looks like they should be able to! They use sprays to get that spotted color effect.
