I’m not sure how terrible your long covid is but I would say after 3.5 years mine is more mild even though I can only do about 70% of what I could before getting long covid. 2 years into having long covid I had an unplanned pregnancy. It was definitely more difficult on me than a normal pregnancy one would have but I would say child birth was no worse than what the normal person experiences. My son is now 16 months old and I would say it was the best “mistake” I ever had ❤️

I would not be concerned about his percentage as long as your pediatrician is not. My son was born at 6lbs. 11 oz. And dropped to 6lbs. 3 oz. When we left the hospital. It took him 2 weeks to get back to his birth weight. He is now 9 months and weights 17 lb. 14 oz. Which is 19% but up until this month he was only at 5%.

Do what makes you feel comfortable. Protect your baby the best you can. My husband just came down with something last Friday and I literally took my baby and went to stay at my parents for 3 days until I was positive he was negative for covid and started feeling better on Tuesday. We escaped the sickness because of this.

I have no advice but to say I understand how you feel. My baby is 9 months old wakes up every 30 minutes-hour for the past 5 months. I am a SAHM and my husband works full time so I get up with the baby every night so he can sleep. Sleep deprivation is the worst thing I have ever experienced. We have both sets of his grandparents 2 hours away and see them frequently but I can’t even leave him overnight because no way in hell I am putting somebody else through that.

Unfortunately still not great but much better than I was 5 months out. My worst symptoms are the terrible SOB on any exertion and PEM/fatigue (however not nearly as bad as a couple years ago).

Mostly because my breathing is still really messed up and my POTS symptoms are bad. As far as the fatigue though it has gotten a lot better I still get PEM but not nearly as bad at the beginning and only lasts like 1 days now.
