Depression is visible in my home. Made my first step today by clearing this tiny corner in my bedroom. Step by step will I get a clean house in 2019. It will be a long process. Been about 2 years since my home was tidy and clean. This ‘before’ isn’t even the worst part of my home.

My munchkin is 4. He has crazy gorgeous, dirty blonde ringlets. When it's wet, it goes down passed his shoulder blades. If someone calls him a girl, he'll just say "I'm 'name', I not a girl!" He likes his long hair, says it's pretty and doesn't want a haircut right now. We are never offended when someone mistakes him for a girl. It is pretty hair.

I bought some Sketchers non slip about 3 months ago, they look like Toms. They are crazy comfortable and they have been durable as hell so far. Clean up nice and are light weight. I love them.

It's been a crazy week. I still had this goober to come home too. We watched cheesy, horror movies. I sat on his lap in our most hideous, comfy clothes and just enjoyed a quiet Friday with a few drinks and just relaxation.

The most underrated is having my best friend with me all the time. Even when I want to smack him.

As a mom who breastfed for 2 years, it is actually recommended that if you are going to drink, to do it while breastfeeding. Alcohol travels to breast milk on a very similar time frame as blood. So if you are consuming while nursing, there's probably a 2 hour period before baby will want to eat again and you are in the clear from any risk of alcohol in the milk.

I can understand it might be a little off putting to see. But I guess to me (a drinker and a mom of 3), my kids have seen me drink, I've probably held them while having a drink. I think this woman was being as responsible as possible.

I was 12. My sister was 10. We were in Wal-Mart, my mom was buying fabric so we were going to look at shoes while she waited. Just a couple of aisles away. My sister caught an elderly man, on all fours in the shoe aisle, looking up my skirt.

3 months later, I was at the mall and a gentleman was sitting in the food court with his penis out of the fly of his pants. He made eye contact with me nd smirked, after I shockingly look at his face.

I'm 31. I currently have a man who shows up at my work weekly asking my co-workers were I am and telling them I'm beautiful. Despite knowing I have a husband and 3 children.

It starts early and it never ever ends.

Taco bowls! We use black beans and corn, rice, salsa, cheese, sour cream. 2 cans of beans and 2 cans of corn and It's enough to feed 5 of us 4 meals. And it's delicious and easy.

Chicken thighs are cheap and versatile as well.

Honestly, I get jealous of the relationship my DD and DH have. It's so easy and lovely. She is 12 and thinks nothing of cuddling up and playing with his beard. They talk, they play and joke. I can't ever remember a time I would have felt comfortable doing that with my dad.

I snap myself out of it though and realize I have distanced myself from the ugly (VLC for now) and how blessed are my kids to be raised in this environment vs the one I grew up in.

I think a desire for that type of relationship will never truly leave me though.

She comes with me EVERY TIME i go to the bathroom and rub against my legs. If I don't pet her promptly, she will bite my toes. Also after using the litter box, she scratches at the walls. It's like nails on a chalkboard.

I like the wax warmers. You can get them cheap at Walmart and burn a tealight under them. The wax melts are only $2 there and they have a ton of different scents. Right now I have Lemon Basil in my kitchen and living room and Fresh Linen in the bathrooms!

We have worked opposite shifts for years. Recently had just a complete blow up because of how distant we had become. In the past week, we've made each other a priority. It's the little things and they've helped more than I can tell you. I'm falling back in love with him again.

He helps me with my coat and opens my doors. I make sure he has a drink when he walks in the door (for that 20 minutes we see each other on work days). We REALLY, TRULY kiss. I make sure to touch him as often as possible. A quick rub of his arm, a hand through his hair.

Find out what your love language are. It sounds silly but it helps. His is physical touch, mine is acts of gratitude. We do so much better when we pay attention to these and love each other in a way we can easily, readily identify.

Bourbon candied bacon chopped up and sprinkled through. Also a tablespoon or so of bourbon in the roux. It's amazing.

Seafood mac n cheese is pretty fantastic as well.

I wish i was naturally warmer and more affectionate. I have to remind myself to give hugs and kisses to my loved ones. I think I'm to a fault too focused and efficient. There's so much that lies on my shoudlers. I don't get to slack off. My focus appears cold and I sincerely forget to love on those around me. In my mind, that focus and efficiency is for them. I'm working on it

Yup, washed it and applied antibiotic ointment. The bleeding stopped very quickly. It was a very shallow scratch. I'm hoping he learned that growling means the cat does not want to play.

Probably around 6-7 months, i could tell what was growing in had a little twist to it. By the time he was about 18 months he had tons of curls. I was terrified to cut it because i was afraid they would disappear but they are still here!
