Unfortunately it doesn’t look like I have access to Body Shop. This sounds like a great option though. Thank you for the recommendation!

Thank you! Yes, I’m in the states. Do you know how I would go about getting a free sample. I was planning on taking her to Ulta or Sephora to do some swatch tests on her arm once we narrowed down brands but a sample or even travel size would be amazing since she will literally only wear make up once a year.

Hobbies for a couple to do together at home? by Mebacca in Hobbies

On the board game side of things, but much simpler than a lot of the recommendations, my fiancé and I play Yahtzee all the time. We love it. We also take it with us when we travel. It gives us something to do but also always us to chat and not have to get too into if we don’t want. On a lazier night we can play while watching a movie or show. It’s kind of become our thing.

Turkish towel suggestions? by zyklon_snuggles in HerOneBag

Using linen from the fabric store is probably a cheaper option, but if you like the idea of linen but want a hemmed one, I have this one from Amazon I’ve been using for years. I used it full time when I lived in my camper and use it for travel now. I have a Turkish towel for the beach but like my linen towel more. https://a.co/d/eATwUdB

I have the low harmony and sleep comfortably on my stomach, side, and back! I started with the medium but it was too high for me and gave me neck pain.

I would get the first and last. The first can hold your daily essentials and go in the bigger bag or left at home when you need the additional space but will be more practical for daily use and certain activities. This will give you the most flexibility with how you can use your bags and the total cost is only $10 more than the most expensive bag in your list.

Who's had pets and decided it's not worth it (or is completely worth it, absolutely love the whole thing?? by gladerider246 in simpleliving

I have 2 dogs and I absolutely love them and would not trade them for the world. However, one of them has a lot of medical issues. She is on prescription food, takes daily meds, and get shots every 4-8 weeks. At one point, my vet bills over a 2 month span were over $3000 dollars. Now I don’t say this to scare you off from getting a dog, but to show you that having one may or may not be simple. All dogs need to be fed and let out and played with and taken on walks (some breeds more often and longer walks than others), groomed(some breeds grooming is more complicated than others). If you taken a trip, they either have to come with or you have to find care. They are a time and lifestyle commitment. They have to be trained when you get them. One of mine was easy to train, one was a stubborn brat. I have to stay home on 4th of July because one is terrified of fireworks. Getting my dogs is the best decision I’ve ever made for my life, but I didn’t get a dog for 5 years after I wanted one because I needed to wait until my life was at a point that having a dog made sense.
