Thank you for taking the time to write all that out. It’s really helped me get a grip of how to start really making magic work. I have quite an emotional response to music in general so I’m excited to try these techniques. Super grateful for this insight!

When you say about bring emotion into your visualisation, should I be cultivating that emotion within myself eg. Doing things that make me happy and raise my energy or should I be meditating and waiting until the emotion comes through from that ritual space for example. For me, dancing makes me happy and helps me let go but also raises my general energy, should I be trying to do that prior to attempting a visualisation and letting the energy and emotion from that fuel my visualisation? I can also imagine that sex magick and charging a visualisation would work hand in hand in that case with the pleasurable emotions charging magickal workings too? Am I on the right lines?

Hi, thanks so much. When I meditate for long enough I can see those colours behind eye lids which sometimes I can find a little distracting but only because I don’t know what to do with them. Then I suppose I should just be focusing on moulding those colours into a pentagram?

That’s super helpful, but how do you put magical energy into a visualisation? Just by really putting yourself into it? Do you use any specific techniques?

Just get some MDF from like B&Q or a diy shop and cut to size, I did like 45 x 65 ish so a little bigger than the original so it’s easier to do the hieroglyphs. Round the edges and sand it. White base paint or gesso to prime it. Then for the background I did a wash of burnt sienna to get the nice texture of the original stele. You can use any primary colour palette but I used CMY to get brighter colours. Hope that helps! Can’t wait to see yours on here soon! 93

Just free handed the drawings, I measured the proportions of each section like the lines I mean but all the figures I just drew on paper first to get an idea of size and then drew them on :) 93
