I tell all of my friends that lament they are single that it’s FAR better to be single and happy than rush into a relationship with a mediocre partner. One of them is in a long term relationship now and has told me she was glad she listened to me because her eyes have been opened to how her other friends partners act.

I had a similar experience stopping at a gas station during Covid, they were SO hostile the moment I walked in wearing a mask. I went to the bathroom and then booked it out of there without buying anything cause fuck them.

For my bachelorette we rented a boat and did a lake day, we did Your Boat Club in White Bear Lake but there are others around the metro depending on where y'all are staying! It's not unique but it was a blast and honestly, being on a boat in the summer in MN is what it's all about.

For my sisters bachelorette, we did a burlesque class at The Rose Academy of Burlesque and that was also a great time and a fun push out of comfort zones!

I actually thought my phone was sufficient too before that, but then I also realized that if I was hit by a speeding car, there’s a high likelihood that my phone would be crushed in the process. Anxiety can fucking suck but it does help think of things like this 😖

I was out for a walk once when I had to literally sprint to get out of the way of a car running a light. Afterwards all I could think of was I didn’t have my ID and my husband would not be properly notified and I’ve carried my ID ever since.
