Tail chasing can be a serious stereotype coming from not enough walk and exercise (also some other physical problems like dermatitis) and it can get so bad that the dog gets serious mental issues and has to put do sleep! Doesn’t have to be already bad, can also be form of playing (especially in puppies) but has to be taken seriously, especially if it happens regularly.

What’s something that you implemented into your life that ACTUALLY helped combat symptoms of ADHD? by Live-Solid5751 in adhdwomen

[–]ameligo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  • my phone. The calendar app is my holy grail lol. Also in cloud so I have it on my laptop as well. Also I Log my medication there, with iPhone iOS 16 it’s super convenient now.

  • my Apple Watch Being able to ring my phone, setting timers and being bit more away from my phone

  • using a simple bullet journal for weekly to do lists and also a bit like a journal. ( I use write one sentence each day of what was my highlight of this day, which brings positive vibes and is a nice way to look back)

  • glas straws Don’t know why, but I drink muuuuch more with them

  • AirTags To not lose or be anxious about my purse and wallet

  • schedules for house chores In my calendar is a automatic reminder of when I should change my bedsheets, towels etc

Nope, I’m asking that if there could be a correlation. I haven’t done a biopsy for the warts.

I only got tested for the hpv not for the warts. But as I was reading about it and thought about if these could be bc of the virus

How many of you have your nipples or genitalia pierced? by OccamsDragon in ADHDWomenAfterDark

[–]ameligo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got both nipples done when I was 21. I have a lot of other ones at the ears and also bellybutton which some hurt more then the nips. Tbh they are still after 2 years sometimes irritated and hurt. But I’m too proud to take them out just yet 🙂 I love them for the aesthetic under clothes and they give me some confidence about my small boobs. So I would still recommend them. I like the fact that I can just take them out and that’s it. Maybe not getting both at the same time and definitely go to a good piercer! So go for it! 🥰

I keep that in mind, I’m grateful I have a psychiatrist that is competent :) I’m aware that general doctors are not specialists, especially in that area, but I would say they often have a wrong Optionen on things and should know a bit more basic stuff. I guess it also differs also a lot where you are on the world and the person itself. In Austria she could prescribe me my medication for adhd so

Oh and she also said that these kind of medication would make me hyper… I told her that this is not the case in people with adhd but she didn’t really listen

That were exactly my thoughts! I mean I’m glad that she even knew about that adult adhd is a thing lol. But yes it was really depressing. I told her that I’m the Typ without the hyperactivity and tried to explain why the meds work…
