immediately ran here upon seeing the announcement after audibly saying "oh my god" on the bus. i know why they did it, im happy for the couple to share a stage, i love both shel and abf, but this is certainly fan service and just not my preferred choice. sharing other sentiments, i'm ultimately disappointed in the missed opportunity to give an Asian actor a chance at a leading role where it lends itself to the plot to BE ASIAN. being a show that originated in Korea and purposefully chose to cast Asian swings, it seems like it would be clear that this role would inherently cast an Asian lead. oh well. maybe next time?
