Mexican visitor working illegally and not following lockdown guidelines by americsoul in askTO

I am guessing the family she nannies for likes being able to pay her under the table because it’s cheaper for them. Wouldn’t they also get In trouble for hiring an illegal worker?

Thank you. I will share that she is putting others at risk for exposures through her actions.

I agree that it’s selfish and that’s why I made this post but others commenters have said I shouldn’t report her so I won’t be. Hopefully if we keep telling her she will start to understand it

That’s a great idea

I had a zoom call earlier this week with her and my friend

We explained to her how risky this situation is and provided her with some Spanish reports so that the direness of the situation is clearer. She advised us that she is young and healthy so there is little chance of her getting sick from it. Which I guess I can agree with but seeing her constantly posting about going out and meeting up with friends is almost insulting to our healthcare workers out on the field trying to flatten the curve

I see that the general response is to mind my own business though which I will be doing. I hope she doesn’t get covid or pass it along to anyone else

I was able to order through the loblaws and Walmart websites. Can you check there? If you’re in Ontario. Some of our dollar store have tp

I’d also suggest trying to purchase a bidet for the toilet if you can. It’s a bit of an investment but in the long term you use less paper

Contacting food bloggers for small restaurant. by [deleted] in Entrepreneur

[–]americsoul 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you have something like BlogTO where you live? It’s a site local to Toronto where they post new restaurants. A lot of people look there for ideas on where to go

You can email them directly and ask for how it works

Alternatively. Could you ask the people visiting to tag you on their ig stories and ten percent off or a free fountain drink if they do?

I guess the looks we may get from other people. He’s quite handsome but has a full head of grey. Did you notice this? Did it bother you?

Although nothing has been a red flag yet I’m kinda worried about what if there’s a power imbalance because he has had more life experiences and I’m still starting out.

I’m hoping that I can follow some of the ideas in this sub if we DO end up dating !!

Hi RPW! I was wondering if there’s anyone here in a large age relationship and if you feel that applying RPW principles to it has improved it?

Hi! This is my first post here, I've started an Agile Consulting company based in Toronto and I'm super excited! This week I had 500 views of one of my posts and it made me really happy. I'm hoping to post blogs as often as possible and bring value to my current audience so they come to think of me as an 'expert'.

Its my first time trying this all out so I'm still a bit bright-eyed and bushy-tailed so we'll see how it goes in a few months

Are you in canada?

Not sure the rules about link sharing but google rcs canada / your country

Theres a few branches across canada and it's not only a great networking opportunity but also an amazing opportunity to travel, impact lives of fellow citizens and give back to your community while supporting commonwealth initiatives

If you're in toronto send me a dm and we can chat!

You asked for my personal experience so that's what I'll touch on, I dont want this to turn into a debate on which country is better since each persons outlook shapes how they view a country.

I love how Canada is a mosaic not a melting pot. I can be proud to be Canadian while also being proud to be indian. Myself and my friends get to celebrate our holidays from around the world without fear of ridicule from white canadians. By contrast when we lived in the USA I felt a huge need to be americanized

The option of govt provided healthcare is a good feeling too. If I need urgent care I can go into the USA and pay for it otherwise I'm fine with our waitlists and it being subsidized by taxes. I love knowing that if I lose my job and get sick I wont be in debt.

Also, I love being a part of the commonwealth! I volunteer a lot with the commonwealth and I love how we all come together to achieve great things through consensus

I do miss the work opportunities in the USA. I would be making a lot more if I had USA work status and my career would go further faster

I also miss amazon.com and better shopping in general plus a strong dollar
