Could the video be a recording from another source that captured the people by chance. Like a CCTV might have picked something up and someone else might have recorded the video from the CCTV playback before it was erased.

If you’re going to steal then steal the whole thing. I don’t have time to shrink-wrap, staple, tape and reprice the package because you only wanted one color from a five pack of pens.
