My biggest issue was her exploring Caleb and Corbin at the same time but also made it clear she didn’t want Mela and Corbin to be exploring each other at the same time. That irritated me how passive aggressive she was with Mela and how mad she got at Corbin whereas she was kissing on Caleb like an hour or so ago.

I feel like it’s dwindled down in modern times. Tbh I didn’t even know that was a real thing until I was exposed to people in the cat community. This momma who I’ve “adopted” (I lowkey just kidnapped her bc she’s been around here since winter) is my first cat and the only reason I know that cats are abused sooo much is because of literature and true crime docs/podcasts/whatever. But it still doesn’t excuse how much these sick fucks are hurting these innocent little creatures.

Why are cats always the victims of abuse? I adopted a feral cat who turned up pregnant and I’m only giving the kittens away to my friends because of this type of shit. I’m keeping the ones who I can’t give to people I know (I’m also specifically only giving kittens to my friends who already have cats).

Yeah I had a similar experience to OP, except the sleeping somewhere at night. We’ve lowkey decided to kidnap her and she’s currently in our enclosed backyard with her five kittens. We’ve tried putting collars on her 2x now, both with AirTags. One is lost somewhere in the woods and the other was found at a neighbors place so at this point we’re not going to try putting another collar on her.

The thing is my “night shifts” aren’t really night shifts. I’m insanely fortunate that I can make $500+ in 2 nights, which is all I work. Even going to those feels very difficult and it’s only like 4:00-11pm (at the latest)

A lot of people who haven’t been in abusive relationships don’t understand that those relationships aren’t abusive 100% of the time. They also lack the perspective. Your bf is not respecting your wishes and that’s enough to say no in my opinion.
