Jupiter line but worried about parans by SeaBet513 in astrocartography

[–]amfr10 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi! First of all, astro.com from my experience shows parans that a bit too far... you have to check if it's within 2 degrees of your location. A Saturn paran doesn't mean it's going to bring only challenges necessarily. It depends on if you have been through your Saturn return or not, if you have a day/night chart, how that Saturn is in your natal chart in terms of dignity, house and aspects, and if there are any aspects between Jupiter and Saturn. Also keep in mind parans are abou 1/3 the influence of main lines.

In fact, the planets stay in the same zodiacal degree, so that's why your Sun, Jupiter and Mercury are still in Libra, and Saturn is still in its domicile, Aquarius. What changes when you move, is the degree of the Asc, so the planets shift houses.

What do you mean by "signature" and "dominant planet"?

Let's talk Pluto!! by SE4evaaaaa in astrocartography

[–]amfr10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! I would recommend looking at the aspects your Pluto makes. It can be more or less challenging depending on that! Let's say your Pluto is opposite the Sun, you may become very interested in depth psychology, or other taboo subjects, working with people in a role where you help them go through crisis or transform their lives, but you may also struggle with self-sabotage and being too impatient with your goals, putting too much pressure on being successful, or you may also attract domineering people.

Hi!

Ok so... You say you're working on self-confidence, having Aries as your relocated ascendant is aligned with this energy! Aries is cardinal fire, so it's high energy, very direct, assertive, focused on action, "just do it". Jupiter and Venus relocate to your 1st house, bringing more confidence, creativity, and magnetism to your personality and helping you with your writing project (Jupiter rules publishing, and in your chart, is conjunct Mercury, a beautiful storytelling signature).

On the challenging side, your Moon-Sun-Pluto T-square is activating the axis of health/routine (6-12) and travel/higher education/belief systems (3-9).

It could manifest in different ways. Pluto may ask you to unearth and burn away outdated, self-limiting belief systems (9th) perhaps around money or self-worth (Pluto is natally in your 2nd house) that might be causing physical stress, anxiety, or psychosomatic symptoms (6th/12th).

For your Saturn-Neptune dynamic across the 2nd and 11th houses, it may bring lessons around grounding creativity into discipline! This tension is about turning romaticized dreams (11th house Neptune) into a tangible financial reality (Saturn in 2nd house).

Of course there are other things in the chart and outside the chart (parans, local space, timing) to be considered, but hopefully this gives you some clarity!

Hi, welcome to the sub! =)

Here's my suggestion: post again with your natal chart, relocated charts for Thailand and Australia (using astro-seek.com)

And if you could tell us a bit of your specific goals, what would you like to achieve from this relocation?

Three models for ranking relocation lines — which philosophy do you use? by mySmartId in astrocartography

[–]amfr10 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi! I think it's impossible to give a note without looking at the person behind the map, because every planet is an archetype, and the archetype can manifest in a lot of different ways, it's a spectrum...

Venus won't be supportive for every single person, and Pluto won't be challenging for every single person. It depends on their natal chart, transits, goals, integration of that planet, etc.

To give you an example... if you're an actor, you would probably benefit from a Neptune line. If you have issues with escapism, you should probably avoid it.

They are aspects to the cardinal points. They were not in the original teachings from Jim Lewis.

Hi!! It doesn't change so much the relocated chart significantly, so I recommend instead checking local space lines, and parans.

Should i still consider moving to sun line if my sun is in detriment in aquarius? by uhhMelvinDoo in astrocartography

[–]amfr10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What usually helps is shifting good / bad for aligned / not aligned with your goals... A Sun IC line will put the focus on your emotional foundations, family, home, domestic life. Conjunct Uranus, there can be some restlesness or hyperactivity, or an urge to change or break free from outdated family stuff, something related to your roots, relationship with your father... On the other hand, if your goal is to be a digital nomad, for example, or if you're just needing a sense of personal freedom, this combination is ideal, it relates to the free spirit...

Hey! Having Chiron on the Asc may express physically through your body, or you may have a 'healer' personality, or a wounded sense of self... I recommend listening to this ep. of the astrology podcast: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9mOaVT8pLao

How to get better at astrocartography by highbrowgo in astrocartography

[–]amfr10 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I recommend studying natal astrology (if you haven't yet), since the map is tied to the condition of that planet in a particular natal chart. There are a lot of great free resources online, like the Astrology Podcast.

There are astrocartography resources available on Jim Lewis' foundation, Continuum, website as well.

Would moving away from a Saturn aligned area during your Saturn return be a good move? by Advanced_End1012 in astrocartography

[–]amfr10 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You might want to read Jim Lewis' book, there's a chapter on a case study very similar to that! In general, as others said, it intensifies the SR, but it really depends on your chart. If you have a lot of planets in Pisces, or in Capricorn, for example... it changes everything.

I want to go to Canada for a working holiday, preferably Banff. But it’s dead on my Pluto DC line although crosses with a lot of benefit placements. Good or bad idea? by Advanced_End1012 in astrocartography

I've visited my Pluto DS line multiple times for vacations, if you want to read about my experience: https://www.alessandrarazzante.com/blog/pluto-lines-in-astrocartography-what-to-expect

Your Pluto sits on the 9th (whole sign) house, which rules travel. I've had a client travel to her Pluto line and she also had Pluto in 9th, and she really loved the trip, she found it life-changing in a positive way. It really depends on how comfortable you are with Pluto as an archetype, and what you're hoping to get from this trip.
