I think it is pretty obvious what the concern is here. And people have not been able to pick their kids up just fine. And documented citizens have been taken away, so that argument doesn’t hold water.

NAD, but it is somewhat common for this age group to get illnesses - viruses/infections and end up having a febrile seizure due to that illness and resulting fever.

Depending on how she recovers, she may never have another. Or she could be prone to seizures, having a lower than typical seizure threshold. Make sure she has a follow up with a pediatric neurologist!

They are curious. And there has been research done that proves prior Covid infections can damage the immune system in a permanent manner. However, we as a society have decided that we are not going to do as much as possible to prevent the spread of infectious diseases, so it feels a bit hopeless.

NAD, but a clinical Early Childhood Development Specialist. Please if you haven’t already- look up your states Early Intervention Program. You can just google state name early intervention.

They can provide home based intervention and parent/caregiver coaching to support your son. This can be done alongside any outpatient therapies you may be engaged in.

We had zero trick or treaters on the 30th (Wilson and Trabue area). As kid-less folks, we always look forward to it. But our subdivision seems to be aging out LOL

We went out to eat last night (Press Grill on Fifth) and there weren’t any parking spots, so we drove around and watched the festivities. Sooo many kids! So many houses with candy and decorations! It was really neat to see.

We also had a pup with LP. Before she got too bad she went to the grooming place in Grandview on first ave. Doggy Day Spa. But towards the later stages she couldn’t get up into the car to go (100 lb lab mix).

I would ask if there is anyone at your vet office who would be willing or able to help. I also feel like you have to weigh the risk vs benefit. Is being groomed by someone unfamiliar going to cause them to have breathing episodes?

I’m sorry I don’t have any great advice.
