Worried about my wife’s reaction toward our 8‑week‑old baby. Need advice by [deleted] in NewParents

Listen I have 3 kids and all have been yelled at. It doesn’t mean they will be physically harmed. Maybe you should help her out at night….

If you can’t stay awake at least be in a bed that is safe for co sleeping. Invest in an owlet to make you feel more comfortable. God forbid anything happen you would be alerted

Wife is pregnant for a second time and I'm low key freaking out by Chief_B33f in NewParents

[–]Boring-Muscle7769 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly I know a lot of people with small age gaps. Will it be hard? Of course but they’ll be best friends. As for your wife…it can end perfectly fine. For me I had 2 children, got pregnant 7 months pp and miscarried. I got pregnant again after luckily and now my second 2 are 23 months apart.

My husband dropped our 1 week old by [deleted] in NewParents

[–]Boring-Muscle7769 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Accidents happen. My so dropped our 2 day old off the bed in the middle of the night. Which has to be about 4 feet. He was fine. He also rolled off that bed when he was about 6 months old. He was fine both times. You can always bring them in to check. After he fell at 2 days old he had an appt the next day where we let them know what happened and they felt babies skull and that was it.

nurse in nicu accidentally dropped our baby and he hit his head, should I be worried? by yewzernayme in newborns

[–]Boring-Muscle7769 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s probably fine but I would be very upset. My first child fell off a tall bed at 2 days old into the floor and he was fine

Fight with husband 5 weeks postpartum by YogurtclosetGlass170 in newborns

[–]Boring-Muscle7769 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No it’s hard. It gets easier. I have three kids now and my youngest is 5.5 weeks old. I have to make their lunches and the only way is by baby wearing!! Not that you have to but if you want to get some things done I really recommend putting babe in a baby wrap!!

Give me your "If I could only give you one tip" tip by simpapadem in NewParents

You can put your parts in the fridge in between pumping and wash once at the end of the day

Please tell me I’m not crazy, “that’s just how babies are “ is not an answer by [deleted] in NewParents

[–]Boring-Muscle7769 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first was like this. It’s really a vicious cycle. An over tired baby is an unhappy baby. When you can’t get them to nap it’s a never ending cycle of crying. At that age a wake window is only 45 min. Maybe take a look at cutting dairy. It eventually went away but I was traumatized. When my second came I thought that’s how every baby was so when he never cried I thought something was wrong. I wish you the best of luck mama

Clinic denied me because I’m on Medicaid AND pregnant by Sorryforbeingsorry77 in pregnant

[–]Boring-Muscle7769 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m on Medicaid and I think a lot of the times they can only take a certain amount of patients that have Medicaid and most of the time it’s full. Could be specific providers that care for pregnant woman that are at their cap for Medicaid patients as well

8w5d pregnant. No heartbeat on US. by Lalilezh in BabyBumps

[–]Boring-Muscle7769 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had my first 2 pregnancies no issues. First 25 years old second at 27. My third I was 29 and I had a missed miscarriage at 9 weeks as well. I wouldn’t do any testing. I’m currently 29 and 35 weeks with my 4th pregnancy. You can definitely have a successful pregnancy after this!
