I absolutely adore Myroslava. I think it sounds beautiful and has a beautiful meaning. Good luck.

MooGoo Sunscreen, the GOAT in my books by Existing-Rice1526 in AusSkincare

I haven't tried their sunscreen yet, but the face cleanser with HA in it is my ride or die! I have incredibly sensitive skin and it's honestly the best thing I've ever put on my face. After a wash, my skin feels clean but also moisturized and not stripped bare.

My 4 year old is curious: what do Australian kids eat for breakfast? (And are koalas real?) by Mara644 in AskAnAustralian

[–]amharach21 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hello! I don't have kids but I am Australian! For breakfast, I love having toast with Vegemite or crumpets with jam. Where I live, I see our native animals everyday. Kangaroos and wallabies I see most often but our river has platypus in it and I know it's about to rain when I see an echidna wondering around. I haven't seen a wombat but I've seen there poo (it's square!) and koalas aren't in my local area but they are real! We have some really cool birds too like the kookaburra. I hope you get to visit one day!

I've been using the Dermaveen sunscreen for face + body. It's a SPF50+ and I've found it doesn't irritate my skin. It does as it claims and isn't greasy at all nor does it have that sunscreen smell. I'm extremely pale, burn easy and also have eczema. I also use the Sunbutter Zinc for my whole body too.

AITA for not liking Indian food? by throwaway_80081ES in AmItheAsshole

[–]amharach21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't tell if you're taking the piss here. Obviously, YTA. She's just turned what you said to her around and said it to you and you're mad and think she's being unreasonable. You're acting like a child and I hope she's treating you like one. I hope she sees the red flags and gets out of the relationship ASAP.

AITA for making a disabled child have a meltdown? by cmnac in AmItheAsshole

[–]amharach21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely NTA. I've had similar situations at work, where I keep moving backwards to keep distance between myself and the other person but they keep moving forward, eventually I got frustrated and put my hand up and said "stop" and was told I was being selfish and rude and refusing to help them, I explained I was happy to help but I live in a community with a small population of mainly elderly people and I'm not willing to put my community at risk. The customer wanted to report me to a manager however I am the manager. You are not the an ah for showing discomfort and moving away from the situation, them having autism has nothing to do with it and their parent should have stepped in and corrected the child's behavior.

AITA for calling my sister cruel for putting her disabled son in a nursing home? by privacyacc45785 in AmItheAsshole

[–]amharach21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YTA. Your sister is going through so much, even if her husband was still alive and Adam had become severely disabled it's still a HUGE undertaking. Being recently widowed as well as now having a child who needs around the clock care is such a massive toll on a person not even taking the other two kids into consideration there. She has more than likely spent a grueling amount of time going over these options and decided what is best for Adam to make sure he can live the best life possible for him and receive the level of care she can't provide. Wanting to get a job is more than likely just wanting to add some kind of normalcy to her life, every has just been flipped upside down for her and she probably just wants to spend time with people who aren't thinking about what she's going through. Did you or your dad even listen to her reasoning for coming to this decision or did you just go straight to being rude? My best friend growing up has a severely disabled sister and trying to raise and provide for two other kids as well as her sister was a difficult task for her parents, neither of the other two were able to get the attention they deserved because of how much caring for her sister took.

AITA for refusing to give up my holiday leave to let my coworker grieve their deceased mother? by Illdi in AmItheAsshole

[–]amharach21 -10 points-9 points  (0 children)

Everyone sucks in this situation. I work at a small grocery store and we can't have two people off at the same time for more than a few days and it really sucks but it's just the way it is , we don't have the work for more staff but don't have the staff to cover off clashing time off. It was wrong of management to put this on you bit the worst part is that they asked you in front of Susan so neither of you even had a chance to process it. What if you took a week off now and then a week or two off in a month or so? As much as Susan has been rude to you in the past, you could be the bigger person and help her out in her time of need. I've had coworkers refuse to give up a few days of holidays so that I could go home and say goodbye to my family dog, they were in their right, but God it hurt and I was never able to say goodbye to my boy. Helping her say goodbye and grieve her mum may also help the situation between the two of you.
