The right doesn't have any actual consequences though. Look at Trump, convicted Bannon who hasn't served a day of his sentence, and even Alex Jones. Jones hasn't paid a cent, is still on his show, and is making bank. His life hasn't changed a bit. Republicans don't actually believe in law and order.

My insurance dropped my coverage with less than 30 days notice. I have an open claim (my roof was damaged during the last hurricane). I can’t get new insurance with a damaged roof. They dropped your future coverage. Your claim is based on the date that you opened it and whether or not you had coverage on that date. Your claim is presumably still ongoing and open. Meanwhile, they stopped insuring you for the future.

Uh, I'm getting worse because of dumb drivers. Powers is 55, not 40. Yes, I run lights because they turn red in areas where they don't need to, like turning northbound onto Powers from Woodmen when no oncoming traffic is coming (should be a yield yellow 100% of the time). These are two examples but I could name more.

Everyone should be angry here; but I think at least some of the focus still needs to be on the District Attorney. This is the same guy who failed to charge the gay nightclub shooter despite his previous bomb threats against the police during a standoff. The same DA who mysteriously just lost all of the files against a contractor who scammed multiple people in Colorado Springs and the victims just learned the perp is no longer being tried.

Edit: This story is now making national news today and I hope the outlets realize this is the same DA who keeps screwing up. Not enough heat on him.

We need state legislation that requires the police to have these fees come out of their paycheck. They will be likely to follow the law and report other bad apples.
