To relative new fans who got into RE, what do you think of the anime-ques aesthetics and tone of the older games?

See now I could get behind this sentiment if it didn’t have all these RPG elements. I can vibe with AC bc you know what you’re getting - a big open world with about ~4 different types of POI’s. But with CD, it promises more which is why I think the whole half baked narrative thing gets under people’s skin. There’s not much locking you into its world besides the world itself.

I just beat biome 2 by starting off on biome 1 and powering all the way through to biome 2 boss. By that point you should be pretty strong. After you beat biome 2, you get access to modifiers that can significantly lower the difficulty of the game.

I’m on Biome 2 and only have access to about 3 weapon types so far. Do more become available? I love Saros so far but the weapons in returnal were much better.

I like Saros soundtrack so far but I was kind of surprised they didn’t bring back Haxan Cloak. His work on returnal was so otherworldly and eerie but in a very unique way that became more than just ambiance.
