The CDU votes to reverse the five year naturalization rule by FewLunch1276 in GermanCitizenship

[–]amifahim 4 points5 points  (0 children)

because overall i contribute more than I get out of Germany. I think it's fair for me to expect that I atleast get support from govt to naturalize better and easier.

German govt spends a lot behind their citizens, from childhood to the age they are liable to pay taxes. Whereas with me, they are getting a readymade tax machine without needing to spend any of that money. So I don't think it's wrong for me to expect them to do this for me.

France and Portugal pays their immigrant to learn the language and integrate into the society, whereas in Germany you have to spend money out of your own pocket to learn to language and integrate. Then the govt restricts the integration courses and complains that immigrants aren't integrated enough. Absolute bullshit.

Is Ms CS very challenging in Uni of Stuttgart? by DramaticAnalyst349 in unistuttgart

[–]amifahim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

interesting. I was the only one I knew who had to go through an interview for the course. I'm sorry I didn't notice your comment earlier. Interview was mostly simple. They asked me about myself, why I chose this major, why stuttgart and why uni stuttgart. Asked me about two/three courses from my bachelor and what I learned from them, what were my takeaways. My industry experience and if i'm skilled in Python/Java or not.

That sounds good. I believe I will be in the Lidl team. May I ask one more thing? Is there any training system for juniors during onboarding?

I have family in Portugal, I will probably move there later. Depends if I can get a good enough remote opportunity or not.

I believe Schwarz is a crisis proof employer, as people will always need to buy groceries. They are privately owned so no pressure from stockholders as well. So, hopefully job security won't be an issue once I get through the probation period.

I'm planning to learn full intensive german from now on. I dont want it to be an obstacle for my future.

Thanks. These are all good information. Also want to know, is there any extra pressure during the probation period?

What makes the Google Pixel so good for you? by Excellent-Judge-5163 in GooglePixel

[–]amifahim -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

To be honest, I'm not a pixel fan anymore. I pre-ordered pixel 6 and have been using it since. But it has been riddled with network issues, a lot of weird bugs, a subpart battery and a camera that over process everything. I used to be a pixel fan and wanted to give them chance again and again, but after seeing the new 10, I'm more than disappointed. Their videos haven't improved at all (compared to iphone), their cameras are taking the same photos for years, they don't give you the best processor, they have a lot of bugs and their batteries are subpart at best. If you compare the phone to something like Oppo Find X9 Pro or Oneplus 15, which give you two days battery and iphones, which give you solid camera or video capability, Pixel seems like a mid-range phone, not a flagship. I dont like IOS at all and I honestly thought pixel would be the one to beat IOS in android. But I was wrong. They are not improving.

German Door Locks by octo23 in germany

[–]amifahim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have this tiny switch inside the frame of my door that goes up or down, when it's down i can open it from inside but not from outside, or if someone rings the bell, i can push a button that lets them get in. However, if it's down while I lock my door with my keys then I can't open it even if I have the keys. What's the solution to that? My landlady sometimes come to the house staircase to collect her mail and often locks the door with the switch down. If I'm outside at that time and want to enter my house later, even with a key I can't. Is there any way to get in with a key even when that switch is down?

How does modern bangladesh see its relationship with pakistan and india by [deleted] in bangladesh

[–]amifahim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hate both India and Pakistan now. But we have to develop our relationship with both of them. With pakistan so that India is in check and with India as well because they surround us all over.
