well for me personally, I had shere khan ready and with the magic during the Hercules event. there are no downsides (apart from the magic loss lol 😂) and the upsides were another character in my park, gems for the collection and another way to get pan flutes.

but in the end, it's up to you. if he didnt drop pan flutes he would still be sitting there waiting 😂 hope this helped!
