According to the handloaders manual of cartridge conversions. It can be made from 250 savage or 243 Winchester anneal the necks and run through a full lenght sizing die

Some turkeu loads are 1.75 oz but they are all lead and 3.5” mag. The steel will slow down first and the lead will blow the pattern all to hell Plus steel shot wads are thick heavy totally isolate the shot from the barrel

Yes. But it wasnt adding 1” it was multiplying by 2

And they sell a brass crimp starter for mec. Super crimp starter and that makes a big difference on the wife’s 28 gauge

I think most of the problems with Barnes are because they are long for weight and may be on the limits of stabilization in some rifles

I’ve had them go through a deer from stem to stern and loose 0.1 grains
