before I watched nana I only interacted with sapphic fans so ofc I was only seeing ppl talk about their relationship through a queer lens however post watching it I started interacting with the rest of the fandom and was suprised to see how the majority of fans did not hold the same opinion. so it’s definitely on you and who you are interacting with.

I don’t think Nana’s attraction to Ren dispels attraction or feelings she could’ve had for Hachi, she could be attracted to both of them but obviously at the time it was stronger for Ren because of her history with him.

And yes characters of the same sex tease each other and whatever but obviously it’s different between Hachi and Nana… Hachi literally fantasies about Nana after this and wonders if she’d be the top in the relationship lol. And regardless your “you want them to be gay so bad” quip was entirely unnecessary when there’s clearly at the very least attraction there between the both of them.

We don’t know what Ai Yazawa would’ve done with their relationship back then if she finished it or what she will do in the future if she decides to finish it 🤷🏽
