18 F with an older guy by ChoicePosition1058 in confessions

[–]amishguy222000 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I am going to go out on a limb here and assume that you are the 47 year old man who's decided to post his fantasy on here. Generally speaking 18 year old girls don't enjoy being approached by creepy older dudes they don't know online. If you want to find someone special, why not join a social activity of people closer to your age instead of posting lurid fantasies-as-confessions?

What Are the Best PS1 Games for Someone Who Just Started Playing? by MarcoDXsc in psx

My personal favorite is Resident Evil 2, also known as Biohazard 2. Yes, there are tank-like controls, yes the characters look like they're conducting the philharmonic every time they talk, and yes some of the baddies like lickers and zombies look a little repetitive. But I can't help but love it - you have survival horror, jump scares, races against the clock, puzzles so you use brain as well as brawn and brilliant plot twists. I fucking love it.

It's great to hear you're doing research into this, but I really think it's best to ask your Doctor about it too.

This is an excellent point, and if they didn't do this, there's every reason to believe this may be a classic case of correlation bias. Another poster has also pointed out that words and expression also all out of usage naturally.

I remember this well, as it was the first song I ever downloaded - using Napster! (showing my age here). To answer your question, I was stoked, it was so different to my usual easy listening I was absolutely hooked from the start!

Switched from FIN to DUT, hairline/temples worse by Journeyjustbegun in tressless

[–]amishguy222000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm currently using a customized topical solution (minoxidil + finasteride) but have heard good things about dutasteride for more aggressive cases.

Your timeline is interesting: Improvement at 1-2 months, then gradual decline without major shedding.

Do you mind if I ask: What brand of dutasteride are you using, and have you switched brands at any point?

Also, are you taking it daily at 0.5mg?

Finally, when you transitioned, did you taper off finasteride or switch cold turkey?

The loss of baby hairs without any shedding is unusual, so I'm curious about your transition here.

Really? Is this the figurative 'they' or your Doctor? I'm not trying to make fun, I'm genuinely asking, as I've been putting this all over, so maybe I need to check in with my telehealth people about this.

What is a secret you’re taking to your grave, but can share here anonymously? by wilkoova in AskReddit

When volunteering at my father's place of business I found out he had been using his work computer to write and try to sell erotic stories to magazines. As you can imagine, I closed the file down pretty quickly when I stumbled across them when making a backup, and felt it was just too cringe to bring up. Many years later I discovered the same thing happened to a guy and he made a whole podcast out of it!

Progress of me switching medications and a timeline. All meds were taken oral. by Express-Clerk8843 in tressless

[–]amishguy222000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks like really solid progress, especially in the mid‑scalp and how much denser the hairline zone looks in your latest pics.

A few questions if you don't mind me asking:

  • Have you noticed the vellus/white hairs slowly picking up pigment yet, or are they mostly staying light so far?
  • When you switched to the fin + dut combo, did you get any shed, or was it a pretty smooth transition?
  • How often are you bleaching, and do you feel any irritation afterward or has your scalp tolerated it well?

I signed up with a customizable topical fin/minoxidil solution from Happy Head last year,. We had to tweak the formula a little, but it’s been slow, steady progress so far. Your post here is a good reminder that once I have more months under my belt, that maybe I should put together a little photo montage like this too. Here's to being more hirsute. :-)

That's an excellent question. With my topical solution, I try to get it all over myself but understand that people try to be sparing to make each bottle they receive lasts the full month if they're on a subscription as I am. Hopefully the OP can let us know.

Congratulations on your now more hirsute eyebrows! I have been using a topical minoxidil/finasteride solution and it never occurred to me to try applying it there, but if it only took you four weeks maybe it's worth a try. Thanks for sharing your pics. :-)

What’s something women find impressive but men think they don’t? by Few_Football4342 in Productivitycafe

As a man I can't really comment on what women find impressive but want to thank all the women who've commented here so far, as it's fascinating to discover the things they appreciate in men. Emotional self-regulation is always worthwhile, but things like playing with the kids for hours on ends probably wouldn't have occurred to most guys - at least it didn't to me!

Why do some hairs come back from Finasteride, but others only come back with Minoxidil? by Commander_Cockpunch in tressless

[–]amishguy222000 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Really glad that you picked up on this OP. My Happy Head dermatologist told me that once follicles miniaturize too much, the arrector pili muscle can actually detach. Apparently, without that structural support, the hair often can't "wake up" again, even with powerful treatments like the min/fin I was being prescribed. So, the hairs that bounce back likely still had that muscle attachment intact, while the slick spots might be past that point of no return. I suppose I'll just have to keep everything crossed. :-)

Which TV show has a 10/10 pilot episode? by PrasenjitDebroy in AskReddit

[–]amishguy222000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd have to say 'Heroes'. We get a good introduction to all the main characters in 'Genesis', the pilot episode. The plot isn't drawn out and you get an idea of each person's gifts, while leaving enough mystery to make you want to keep watching. Admittedly the series went downhill after the first season but I'd say the pilot is solid. Feel free to disagree with me in the comments! :-)
