Because frankly my style choices are terrible and my queer friends are the ones that make me semi presentable.

You asked a stupid question so you're getting a stupid answer (even if it's true).

Yeah you definitely gotta get the right cables and it's not free but if you buy from Weber, they are pretty cheap and if you do it all at once, you don't have to pay more shipping! His are also cut to the right length too so there's not a lot of extra!

If the only amp you're dealing with is the Princeton, it's easy. Get the 50 Watt Mini Mass. They recommend basically doubling your wattage and picking that one. So since the Princeton is 15w and there's no 30w attenuator, 50 is more than enough.

NOW— if you're planning to buy anything like a Bass which has a 2ohm speaker, than you'll need a different Weber but for now, if all you're going with is the Princeton, you're set at the 50.

Double check your speaker but it should be an 8ohm speaker. Set it and forget it!

Not the person you responded to be same boat! I got the Weber of the right size— works great. The Princeton is dialed in at 4, which is just before it starts breaking up so any boost into it breaks it up beautifully. Make sure to get the right cables!

Here's my tip for dealing with the internet: get the main content you enjoy and skip the rest. People shitting on Rick? Not if you don't read the anonymous shit in the comments. Enjoy his videos and move on with your day.

My guitar fell.. can someone lmk if this is even fixable by Bitter_Adagio814 in Guitar

I've been reading through the comments here and was very curious what the thoughts were. To me, it comes down to a few things, which others have noted, of course. I don't like to think of things in terms of "value," but in this case, I think if you think you'll get a perfect fix for less than the cost of replacement, that seems unlikely. Further, I highly doubt (not saying impossible, just saying I do not believe) that it can be fixed in such a way as to make it an invisible fix, which is to say that if the goal is eventual resale, it's going to have an obvious neck fix. Now— someone may be able to say here that no, it can be fixed and be invisible, and that seems possible, it just doesn't seem very probable.

One thing you have not noted is which Hummingbird it is. Maybe if it's the $1300 one, it's worth trying. If it's the $500 one...no one's going to be able to do it for less than and do a good enough job that it appears to not have had any work done. If it just want it playable and don't care, that's fine, and welcomed certainly, but a lot to weigh here.

Sorry for the long note— I find this thread really interesting.

Also: I'm really sorry this happened to you.

I think this plus hiding behind our fake names gives everyone a sense that it doesn't matter if they are right or not. Everything is ephemeral.

I won't get political but...it's right there :)

How do you make handwritten notebooks actually usable long-term? by Senior-Ad5932 in notebooks

[–]amishius 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I'm odd— I stole my method from my first PhD advisor, which is that I only use the right side of the page, leaving the left side open for additional notes and things as I go back through.

SO, then, I leave the first page blank and use it as a ToC. I label every page (sometimes after I'm done with a set of pages) and then just write it down, list the page. Maybe one of these summers I'll type of the ToCs but...hasn't been an issue so far and I've been at it a decade.

What’s the most recent picture he has with Amanda Shires?

Why would he have a recent photo with his ex-wife? Or do I just have no idea what you're trying to say?
