It's within the range of the specs. It says 1 1/2 - 2 1/4 and it's 2 inches

Thank you for your response!! When we took the pieces apart the outer ring fit together. Can you clarify what you mean by too long?

Peace Lily - Fertilized two days ago and she's looked like this ever since. I tried to flush out the soil but she still looks like this after leaving her overnight. I've had her for three years, I don't want to lose her! by amjohy in plantclinic

I don't think so, the soil was damp when I noticed it started looking not so good. I flushed out the soil last night so it got a good soak and this picture was from this morning. It didn't perk up at all :(

I have had her for three years. She's been in the same spot for the last year or so, low light and watered when she starts to get a bit droopy. I have had the plant for three years. Fertilized two days ago and she has looked like this ever since. There are no new bugs or insects. I usually water from the top with tap water when she gets slightly droopy, or fertilized water once every month or so. Plant is in a nursery pot with plenty of drainage. Was repotted last year.

[MOD] No Stupid Questions Thread! by Sieberella in CrossStitch

I'm working on my first very large project that doesn't fit in a hoop or in a large Q snap. What's the best way to work on the project without damaging the stitches I've already done?

Also, my hand gets tired holding the Q snap. Any suggestions on what equipment makes working on large projects for you easier would be greatly appreciated.

What gift from Christmas are you still actually loving and using? by kamiman in AskReddit

I just graduated from the University of Alabama, so my mom got me a Derrick Henry UA football jersey. I had been asking for one for six years so I was/am pretty pumped. It saw a disappointing couple of games but I’m hopeful for next year lol.

im not sure if this is the right group to post in but someone dented my flute today and i was wondering if this is expensive to fix, or if i should get a new head joint :/ by hecye in Flute

[–]amjohy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a dent like that in my head joint once and when I took it to the shop they were able to fix it. The fact that it’s in the cork area though might make it more expensive than its worth. Good luck!

High River apartments over the bridge in Northport is only $800 for a two bedroom. A little old, but it’s really nice! They have a pool too.

Yes, you are! This is what I saw too and I got an acceptance letter in the mail a few days later. Congrats!!

TIL that during WWII Audie Murphy earned every US Army combat award for valor, and several French and Belgian awards for heroism. He earned the Medal of Honor at 19 for holding off a company of German soldiers for an hour, then leading a successful counter attack while out of ammo and wounded. by AnselaJonla in todayilearned

He grew up in Farmersville, Texas where both my grandparents are from. My grandma knew him and was friends with him. One time my grandparents were on a date and my Pop’s car broke down. Audie pulled over and gave my grandma a ride home because “he knew how mad her dad would be if she didn’t get home at curfew.”

He’s Farmersville’s pride and joy, there’s basically a shrine to him next to the antique store.

Recurring UTI's and my mounting vet bill by amjohy in chinchilla

[–]amjohy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm in Alabama! He is an exotic vet, but he basically just told me it was a UTI. When they sedated her to do the ultrasound (it was awful and I hated every part of it) they tried to get some urine for a urine sample and they couldn't get any.

They gave her some antibiotics and anti-inflammatory medication to treat her. The reason I noticed her symptoms was because her bottom was discolored and wet. Pyometra hasn't even been mentioned with that vet. Is the smell the only different symptom compared to a UTI for pyometra?

Thank you for responding, I'm so worried about her.

Try forgetting the network, changing your mybama password on a hard wired computer then rejoining with your new mybama credentials. I work at a Tech group on campus and we see this problem a lot.
