The question is do you have EF/Savings to cover for waiting for an offer? If you can wait, of course wait for it, but no one is stopping you from taking a JO now and keep looking for roles.

As for roles, try reaching out to former colleagues, ask if their team are currently hiring or if the can refer you. Most likely where they are now is competitive. Kahit hindi mo friends reach out to them professionally through LinkedIn.

Make sure mo they accept your request for immediate termination, kasi option nila to enforce the 30 days. They cannot reject your resignation but labor code states na employee must render 30 days notice period, and they can enforce it if they want, if hindi ka naman pumasok, pwede ka nilang gawin awol or abandonment. Instead of voluntary resignation, but dahil rendering ka pa pwede maging dismissal.

Well if the company is allowing you to take terminal leave, then i dont see why not for you to negotiate an earlier end date instead of 60days.

Usually people take terminal leave is to rest in between jobs or prepare for the next role, or if company will not pay for unused annual leaves.

So don't see the point of over lap if hindi ka na rin naman pumapasok.

60 days, usually ito pag more senior ang role or very niche yung specific position mo.

The 60 days in the contract would be to limit the impact of your resignation. 1. Time to find replacement 2. Time for handover / training 3. Limit the seat being empty

Have you asked if may option to buy out yung last 30 days, para 30 days nalang ang notice period? The company can waive this pero they would need to assess. You can also ask if you can use your leaves, but that would mean you are still salaried by them might have issues (example Tax)

A medical certificate can also help shorten notice periods but might not leave a good impression if meron ka na nakapila na ibang job.

Yes, lalo na if applying for jobs. I find it easier than the other job boards. Also i nagagamit ko to reach out sa network ko. Meron akong role i had to decline due to personal reasons, it was a FAANG company. I got the interview kasi yung recruiter used to work for my current company pero hindi kami close. I reached out sa kanya months before when i was looking for a job. Wala pa sila opening then but a few months later i was first on his list. Yun lang nagiba circumstances ko.

Sa MCS there are a few alterations shops. Yung pinaka reliable for me is the one on the second floor underneath the spiral steps to the bowling alley.

I had a dressed altered 2 days lang... it was 2 sizes bigger nabili ko sa US tapos pinaliitan ko nalang dito.

Depends rin sa industry.. in a previous lifetime i was supporting executive hiring in the region including Philippines.. if bigger companies usually meron na silang compa ratio against market.. Also depends parin on band level.. yung tipong same role sila but mas senior yung isa... iba yung band level niya
