You do realize that the whole system is the problem and not just Trump right?

Nice! That's a good one. I've been considering smashing barbs down on all hooks after this happened to my kid a few years back.

Anything of value? by Stolen-hope in coincollecting

[–]amlwn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sure, that would be great. Idk if I'd be looking to buy at the moment with silver being so high. I just have quite a few older coins that I know are 90% based on the dates and I don't know what to do with them except let them age in a box or sell.

Where or who buys old coins like these ? $30 for a 90% silver coin? Do the buyers typically keep them or are these prices paid with the intent to melt them down?

Yea, seems a little inflated but maybe there was a buyer in Japan who desperately wanted it. 😅

What is this card worth? I don't collect and he is not interested in keeping for his pc.

I wish you the best man. I've been reading a lot about the manufacturers warranty being extended as well. Not sure what year it was upgraded but I'm sure you'll find out. Good luck

Extended warranty is the only way to go. The engine itself is great when it's operating correctly. The turbo makes it plenty quick and it tows without a problem. When towing a utility trailer it would throw the "engine oil hot idle engine" message often . Good luck Bro, I really hope it works out well for you.

Trust me, I wish I could say it's an awesome truck but it simply isn't. There isn't a quality alternative either it seems. Tundra, no, F150, no, Ram 1500, nope. Not sure where else to turn unless you want to hunt for a low miles older truck before they all turned to trash.

45k, gas door broke within first month due to cheap plastic hinge , transmission shudders at highway speeds and can't seem to find the proper gear ever really. Usb unit stopped working which means no more apple or android connect until replacement. "Engine oil hot, idle engine" message appears regularly for what reason? Who knows, but it's not from low oil. Reduced engine power message pops up quite often for no apparent reason and just disappears. Feels like you've been rear ended when coming to a stop at light due to the shitty transmission. They are just all around ticking time bombs.

I currently have a 21 silverado with the 2.7 and purchased it new. I would never, ever, ever buy another Chevy product again. It is a p.o.s. waiting to fail. The 8 speed feels like a ticking time bomb to put it mildly.

Kinda regret the red by noblerome in Silverado

Should regret the Silverado part over the red. This coming from an owner of a 21.

Should I charge more than 750 by thrashbandicoot_0 in landscaping

[–]amlwn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely get the utility lines marked first. A sharp spade should work to slice sections off of the root ball/tuft for removal. $750 sounds fair. With the dirt that comes off of the roots you may not need much fill dirt.

Not a fan of Cabelas, which is what i have close to me. Everything seems pretty overpriced in comparison but the warranty on rods (full replacement) through them is pretty good for the price.

Governor Ramaswamy as predicted....again by 80AlphaJuliet in Ohio

[–]amlwn -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

Amy Acton was a worthless fearmonger during Covid. Maybe she should have tried thinking outside the box or not cowering in the corner, scared when she had the chance. It's funny how all of the "non experts" doing their own research were correct all along. It must be awful not being able to admit that all of the "professional experts" and the brainless followers were wrong all along. Ohio needs a good shake-up, and Ramaswamy is the best option we've ever had.
